Alleged Bondi shooter, Naveed Akram, makes huge legal move​

A law firm known for defending Australia’s most notorious criminals will now represent the man accused of killing 15 people at a Hanukkah event.

Alleged Bondi shooter Naveed Akram is set to be defended by the same lawyers as cop murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon and Keli Lane after struggling to find a legal firm that would represent him.
Akram’s case has been assigned to Archbold Gittani, owned by lawyers Ben Archbold and Leonie Gittani, who have previously represented some of Australia’s most notorious criminals.

It is understood his case was assigned to Archbold Gittani this week by taxpayer-funded Legal Aid.
