The article says that on 15th January an investor sounded the alarm, then on 17th January Mr Bradley (his business partner) called ASIC, on 18th January he called the voluntary administrators. They were using Mr Bradley's AFSL.

(Mr Campbell passed away on 17th January).

I would say that the alarmed investor (as described) may have started the ball rolling.
The administrators were appointed on 4 January. There was a meeting for creditors on 14 January which is likely what alerted the investors.

Mr Bradley's account: "In 2009, he [Tony Bradley] went to Westpac to trade spot G10 currencies, and left in October 2011 to join David Campbell, who Tony had worked with at Societe Generale and Chase Manhattan, and create Hunter Burton Capital. After nearly 7 years together, David left HBC to form his own company." Hunter Burton Capital

Consider this next edited out: I'm wrong about at least some of it: *I didn't get the impression that Mr Campbell was doing anything wrong in keeping the licence but changing the company name. It was the same company. Mr Bradley left the company and started his own--incidentally with a very similar website design but a more credible text.*

Yes, I think Mr Bradley is trying to save his own neck. Apparently, he was portfolio manager.

Regardless, it is major fraud that is not being given the kind of media attention that Melissa's case is. So my point stands. If Melissa hadn't mysteriously disappeared, I doubt her case would have received all of this attention. It was her disappearance that hit the media first.

I'm going to edit out that whole middle paragraph now that you've read it. I didn't want to just delete it while you were replying to what it originally said.

Also, if they look to the left they might be looking at the possible police victim liaison officer who was in a green shirt off to their left. Who called an end to the presser shortly thereafter.
Yes, that was noted, "time to wrap up".

MELISSA CADDICK TIMELINE 2005-2013

FROM BIRTH OF SON TO MALIVER PTY LTD AND “MARRIAGE” TO ANTHONY KOLETTI

Date? Married Anthony Caddick (a bricklayer). Put him through politics/law at Sydney University. He became a Corporate Lawyer. Did he study full-time or part-time and contribute financially? It appears that they bought a house at Kensington

2005: Gives birth to son. (date from SMH)

Question: Was MC a stay at home mother then?

6/o5/2009 According to court documents, MC’s “suspected contraventions” may have started then

26/08/2009 31/08/2009 Singapore trip probably to see her brother who was working there.

2010 to early 2013 Anthony Caddick moved to the UK as offered a job in London as a lawyer for 2 years.

13/03/2010 to 20/07/2010 UK trip MC, OC and AC moved to London. Maybe separation began here as MC returned to Australia four months later?

9/02/2011 to 2/04/2011 MC’s short trip to UK alone to go on Mediterranean cruise where MC meets AK who was the hairdresser on the ship

13/04/2011 to 28/01 /2012 UK trip probably to spend more time with AK as he was working in London then and to convince him to return to Australia to live with her?

2012 MC lived in Kensington, Sydney. MC is divorced and sells their Kensington house for $900,000 in 2013?

26/12/2012 to 18/01/2013 USA trip Possibly took AK to New York for Christmas then as friend said she took her hairdresser with her. Maybe they met in New York and they both returned to Sydney together?

8/04/2013 to 20/04/2013 USA trip

2013: Moves from Kensington to Rose Bay and possibly lived with AK there(SMH)

Date? She would become the managing director of SalesXecution, a self-described “nationally recognised thought leader in the convergence of social media, sales performance and marketing”. SalesXecution was streets ahead of the humble computer skills of the Grimleys, boasting a decade of “working with emerging internet communication … world class sales and marketing leaders”.By 2013, however, SaleXecution was retreating into the background in favour of Melissa Caddick’s new company Maliver, a name believed to be based on that of a family member.

Melissa Caddick: How con artist left behind humble start for luxury lifestyle (news.com.au)

Date? 2013: Registration of Maliver PTY LTD (from ASIC)

18/06/2013 Maliver Pty Ltd was incorporated

2013 Two of Mr Calabria’s (lawyer) clients invested.

Melissa Caddick ‘lived large’ on investor funds for many years, lawyer claims (theage.com.au)

2013: Contact address World Square NSW (from ASIC)

2013: Place of business Kensington NSW (from ASIC)

2013: Place of business Rose Bay NSW (from ASIC)

28/09/2013 to 6/10/2013 USA trip

31/12/2013 Were MC and AK legally married?

1/01/2014 to 27/01/2014 USA trip Honeymoon?

What if the AFP seized it for the receivers/ASIC, and now NSW Police are trying to seize it back? :)

If the police have a search warrant, they will get access to the car, I would think. Regardless of who has it. Not really a seizure.

so if mcs son is 16 (2005) i guess he was old enough to decide to stay living with ak at the dover heights home, if thats true,
instead of with his bio father or grandparents,
he and ak must have a close relationship, which is good for him and to still feel a sense of home, plus the dogs are probably there too,
poor little boy

Video not available in this country.
What I did was: copied the link into a private browser and tada... it worked in Europe. Many times this does not help either, but this time it did.

AGs interview analysis below is based on my opinion only. The questions are not quoted.

AGs opening statement:
5:26 ‘Melissa, please let us now that you’re safe and sound. We love you. So our communities, we need your help to bring Melissa, my little sister, home. Thank you.’
Present tense, used her name Melissa and appeared emotional.

5:43 when asked about Melissa he states ‘she’s a loving person, lovely mother, she’s a great sister to me’. This is all present tense. Refers positively to their personal relationship in the present tense.
He then mentions ‘it is extremely out of character’ for Melissa to leave the family.

6:09 when asked when was the last time he spoke to her he answered ‘last Tuesday’. He paused and looked to the left which some believe is looking into the past or searching for memory. The pause could be just considering his response or he could be uncomfortable with the question.

6:20 the question asked AG whether he spoke to her after the police came to her home last Tuesday. AG responded ‘I spoke to her on Tuesday’. It appears the days may have been mixed up by the reporter (deliberately or inadvertently). AGs response was prompt.

6:30 what did she say about the raid? Long pause and looked down slightly a little and said ‘nothing’. The long pause could indicate he may have still been thrown by the previous question and catching his thoughts. He might also be uncomfortable with the question. This could have been a testing question. It is common to ask the same question in a number of different ways to ensure consistency in responses. AG’s answers were consistent as he previously indicated he last spoke to her before the raid i.e. Tuesday so he would know nothing about the raid from MC.

6:34 what’s it like for your family? ‘Melissa, its been very trying, just let us know you’re safe and sound please. Thank you.’
He answers this question by appealing to Melissa directly. Present tense.

AGs responses were directed at the press, his head was generally up, he looked directly at those asking the questions. His body was largely still (based on what I could see). He showed emotion and his statements were in the present tense. His answers were short but he generally answered the questions he was asked.

Like I have mentioned before there is insufficient evidence to form any conclusion from these interviews alone.
Is it possible that some of the reporters are actually forensic psychologists or detectives?

A few questions were carefully worded to include half-truths so I wonder if there are a couple of criminology professionals amongst the crowd of reporters?

I don't know if I've seen what you refer to. Was there only one presser? If so, I watched it once but it disturbed me so I didn't watch it again.
But now, in the name of Sleuthing, I will so I can answer your question.
There is a split second where a very dark look is in AKs eyes, like a flash.

I read somewhere years ago that facial expressions are formed by contractions of muscles in the face that last for 1/12th of a second - now THAT'S 'blink and you'll miss it'.

Did AK really tell police they had a party after the raid?

Wonder if any guests were invited?

Think AK is the cool, fun stepdad who might convince MC to let OC stay up late and have a James Boag or whatever those people drink?

I don't think Melissa had employees either. Not for her business.

I think she had a PT and a chef she employed. And I think that is as far as any 'employees' went.
The PT and her husband have moved away now after losing their money to MCs scam.
They just want to move on. Forget, it would seem. Personal Trainers really encourage and inspire their clients. Literally blood sweat and tears. You'd feel so cheated after turning someone into a powerhouse that then went on to energetically feed you lies.
What a sad situation.

I’m not entirely sure they actually had a party. Correct me if I’m wrong.I was under the impression he was just djing (music loud & letting off steam or making plans, arguing)? Apparently he dj’d fairly often according to the neighbours as they heard the music.

Yes to me they were looking at the police & whoever was in charge of the press conference.

Don’t think so although anything is possible now that Gary Jubelin is an investigative reporter for News Corp.

I’m unaware of other journalists working for major media companies in Australia that previously worked for the police in some capacity but maybe it’s more common than I realise.

Both the Audi & Mercedes would have GPS trackers. You’d hope that the police would have already checked them on both cars. You’d hope anyway..
