Kaye McClynont mentions at 25:09 in Ep 2 of the Liar, Liar podcast MC's mother Barb sent the Grimley family an email in August 2011 claiming that MC was working for a major jewellery company and that the job required commuting.

I gather that was just another of MC's lies in order to cover her trips out of the UK to meet Koletti.
No, she was actually working for a jeweller in London. This is mentioned in Liar Liar Dirty Rotten Scoundrel 24/4/22 podcasr episode, at around 25.31 minutes and 31 minutes, approximately. Unable to share further information.

Yes, that is the episode I referred to.

However, it is only a claim in an email that her mother sent to her family. As reported in that episode MC was not working in England and was bored. Kate said they have found no evidence that she was working in England. No actual jeweler was named and Kate implies that it was a lie told by MC to her mother to account for her "need" to travel to countries outside the UK (to Las Vegas and New York) and in fact those so-called business trips were to meet with Koletti.

Yes, I think we can automatically assume that anything said by Melissa was a lie.

Ok, so from any sort of UK records there is no trail of her paying tax?

When did she buy the $500K diamond ring at auction? Ok, I take your point, everything she said was a lie. To bad the jeweller she "worked" for is silent. Yes, I know Moderator will ban me, again.

Sorry but I personally don’t believe that Melissa is dead.
This is because i have never (yet) seen any kind of distress ( from Melissa suiciding) or fear ( that the murderer is coming after AK next)in AK’s face.
All I ever see is a half smug grin, like he is keeping a secret and we the public are the big joke.

I find it very hard to believe that not one single home on Melissa’s street or in surrounding streets, or in the whole suburb didn’t have available cctv footage of that morning of Melissa leaving her home.
There are shops, coffee shops, apartments, and big homes that lead all the way up to the gap; if that is where she walked to that morning ( to commit suicide)

I have a question and Im hoping that somebody can answer it please…
Have the police ever done a thorough search inside Melissa’s home?
I don’t think they have.
My thoughts of where she is, is right there (alive and well x)

Only six months before she disappeared, accused fraudster Melissa Caddick sent a cute photo of her cocker spaniel Peter Pan resting on her arm in her home office.

It wasn’t until after Caddick vanished that the recipient, one of her many victims, zoomed in on the photo looking for clues. What she discovered has left her reeling.

A close inspection of the photo reveals that Caddick had made a note to herself recording her average profit – or theft – for the month of May 2020 had reached an extraordinary $46,000 a day, the podcast Liar Liar: Melissa Caddick and the Missing Millions reveals.

The staggering daily profit represents a total of $1.426 million just for the month of May 2020.

[. . . ]

The podcast reveals that one of those who did not trust Caddick was her father-in-law, Rodo Koletti, an accountant and a justice of the peace.

He said that whenever the conversation turned to financial matters, “she became too evasive and didn’t answer questions, and went off on a tangent with things that really didn’t make sense”.

Koletti said he was left “just not trusting her”. He was right not to trust her. Whenever Caddick needed a JP to witness legal documents, she simply forged her father-in-law’s signature.

Six months before she disappeared, accused fraudster Melissa Caddick sent a lighthearted photo of her pet dog posing in her home office to one of her victims.
In a desperate hunt for clues, the victim only recently thought to take a closer look at the cute, but seemingly ordinary happy snap, the podcast Liar Liar: Melissa Caddick and the Missing Millions reveals.
Zooming in on the notepad on Caddick's desk, the sum $46,000 was can be seen scrawled on the paper.

That was the eye-watering amount of profit Caddick was making from her alleged crimes every single day.

It's being said in the attached video that her husband has claimed a 'large chunk' of the assets but because Melissa paid everything from her investors then it should fall under 'proceeds of crime', the journalist is interested how that will span out in court.

I’m interested too. But in my uneducated view I don’t think AK is entitled to anything except maybe the sum of the assets he brought into the marriage. Although he’s been more than repaid in things that can’t be liquidated such as trips overseas, dining out etc. I feel sorry for the investors.

Interestingly... AK’s company bank statements which is what his claims are based on are for partial years April 2017-2020...so no supporting documentation for what he brought into the relationship from 2012!

Yes, the investors have paid for him to enjoy the Audi, the holidays, the lifestyle and the credit card he used that MC paid off (again with investors funds). His greed is far reaching wanting some of the jewellery, items of clothing, a claim on the two properties...all the while he has claimed in an Affidavit that “HIS LIVING EXPENSES AND ALL HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES WERE PAID BY MC”

AK has also stated:
- he had only one bank account... he forgot that he also had his business bank account.
- MC paid all his living and household expenses and now he claims he contributed all approx. $58,000 over 3 years... what about the previous 5 years?

Maybe the investors should ask for him to return:
- the costs of the holidays taken over the 8 years.
- the clothing he purchased using the credit card over the 8 years.
- the insurance and running costs for the Audi.
- the flying lessons....

Oh! the list can go on and on....
