I'm still wondering about the murder weapon - where did it come from, what was it, and where is it now? Was it, in fact, a knife? Or could it have been something like nail scissors? (Although most these days would use clippers rather than scissors, wouldn't they?)

And I'm still wondering how MH was rendered incapable of defending himself - outnumbered, drugged, hit on the head, or spinal cord damage for example? Or something else?

But like you, SA, I'm keeping an open mind.

Could that also have kept adrenalin levels high in Morgan’s blood .. sexual activity had commenced, but was not completed .. before he was attacked?

Assuming the possibility of a drug such as Rohypnol, it would be very easily detected in a toxicology screen. Also, it would take some time to work - say 20-30 minutes at a guess, depending on what else was happening.

The puzzling thing though is that drugs like that are powerful anti-anxiety drugs, and adrenalin levels would tend to be lower. Although suddenly finding himself in a situation of fighting for his life could cause a sudden massive rise in adrenalin levels. Except it appears from what we know that he didn't fight for his life.

There is a lot we don't know, obviously, including the tox screen results, the autopsy results, details of the weapon used, what other forensic evidence was uncovered, etc etc. so it makes our speculation open to being way off track. But while it is highly intriguing to speculate, we still have to keep open minds about ALL possibilities. To see just where the evidence takes us as more of it becomes known.

Does anyone else find it strange how few photos there are of RP when you google her name? Considering the side of her personality we saw on her fund raising site and the fact she is/was a model. Just seems strange to me, like maybe someone has done a cull recently.

Going back to Mrs G - I agree even more that he was not overflowing with wealth, if just starting out he would need some capital, - starting a business and going out with alot of women costs money - he travelled overseas & in around parts of Oz with at least one of the women mentioned,

being single or not one would need money to support this kind of lifestyle.

Could he have gotten into bad debt?

I totally agree with you. I keep having to remind myself of the fact that there were 'up to' 14 women he was involved with, and the media has only told us about a few of them. Chances are (unless the police are getting the media to assist) we haven't seen or heard of the woman responsible.

Editing to say: We know that RP says she was his current girlfriend. Do we know if she was at the engagement party with him?

In fact I remember reading somewhere it usually happens in stabbings, because most people don't use the right sort of knife, their hands get slippery, and they don't even notice bleeding themselves until later so the perp's DNA is often found.
