Apparently MH was stabbed three times in the left side of his neck, not so much the throat. Perhaps DJK had a flick knife or similar in his pocket. Carried it around for protection or whatever. Lots of young guys seem to carry that kind of stuff around.
Yes, it would have been the side of the neck, wouldn't it? To hit a major vein - major enough for a fairly fast bleed-out. Court documents say that the stabbing attack and theft of money happened around 2:55am or so. And we know that the stabbing attack could have taken less than one minute.
If that is the case, it sounds as though Morgan bled out enough to go into cardiac arrest in less than 10 minutes ... probably even in 5 minutes.
Perhaps Dr W would know ..... if Morgan was attacked at around 2:55am, and paramedics arrived at 3:05am with Morgan being in cardiac arrest ... would that mean injury to a major vein, or an artery?
And as the wounds were to the left side, as reported, a right-handed person could have been facing Morgan during the attack. A Morgan who was perhaps at a lower height than him while being stabbed in the neck, a Morgan who then may have toppled forward and to the right a bit (perhaps curling into that foetal/fetal, defense position - I think it was reported early in the piece that was the position he was found in, and on the floor) and the attack continued. Horrible ....

"He was bleeding heavily in his bedroom and wearing only a T-shirt. A paramedic said he suffered stab and slash wounds to his neck and left side."
