Australia Australia (SA) Trisha Graf, 41, Missing from Andamooka since 12 Dec 2025

  • #41
I am new to this case and am currently reviewing the available information. At this stage, I would like to clarify the following points:
Is there any evidence to suggest there was a struggle inside the vehicle?

Are there any photographs available of the interior of the vehicle?

Were fingerprints collected from the vehicle?
Was any DNA recovered from the vehicle?

Is there any record of the last mobile phone activity, including mobile tower data?

I sincerely hope she is safe.
This article provides more information.

Trisha Graf was last seen in the remote opal mining town of Andamooka in late December 2025. Her vehicle was discovered wrecked on a desolate outback track several kilometres from her home, with personal items scattered nearby. Most chillingly, a pair of flip-flops — believed to be hers — were found abandoned beside the car, alongside signs of a struggle and unexplained damage to the vehicle. In a somber press conference today, Detective

Superintendent Des Fielke of South Australia Police Major Crime Investigation Section confirmed the case is being treated as suspicious. “The circumstances are extremely unusual,” he said. “The vehicle damage, the abandoned footwear, and the location — it doesn’t add up to a simple accident or voluntary disappearance. We are breathless with concern for Trisha’s welfare.”

Graf, a devoted mother to two young children and partner to a local miner, was known for her routine life in the tight-knit community. Friends describe her as “reliable and family-oriented,” with no history of mental health issues or reasons to flee. Her phone, wallet, and keys were missing from the scene, but other belongings remained, deepening the mystery.

We don't call them flip flops here in Australia where this case is located.

They are thongs.

Maybe written for international publication. Of course they are thongs to us Australians

Was her car was left in that position since the night of her disappearance?

If so what took her husband that long to find the vehicle? Why didn't he raise the alarm immediately?

I agree. Why so long to raise the alarm? This does not sound like an accident at all. For a start, no one would go into that area without footwear. If signs if a struggle, what about evidence of another vehicle? This shouldn't take long to resolve. MOO.

I suspect this article has been AI generated. The damage to Trisha's vehicle is not unexplained - her friend said they hit a kangaroo on the way back from Roxby Downs. IIRC the major crimes detective confirmed that was the case, in the recent presser.

And I suspect it says that her phone, wallet and keys are "missing" because there has been no mention of them in local news.

imo

Thanks South Aussie. It's so good to have people from varying areas of Australia to give us the local real news.
