Also obviously one of the guys has pointed them to where the grave site is maybe for a slightly lower length of prision time?

So glad they have recovered Samuel. Good work to the Qld. Police service. I hope they can now determine c.o.d. and there is plenty of forensic evidence on Sam.
Although either one or both of the perps must have admitted to their crimes.
Much sympathy to Sam's loved ones, our hearts are broken for you on the loss of your beloved son.
R.I.P. Samuel.

Or just really good police interrogation.

Glad they've found evidence and Sam, hopefully Sam's family can have some closure and get some justice

Whilst i don't agree with drugs, i also don't agree with murder even for those who have chosen to live that side of life

In Australia it's contrary to professional ethics for a lawyer to lie to or deceive the court or knowingly allow their client or client's witness to do so.
Not the time to talk about it, but from personal experience they do advise their accused on how to lie, and they also omit evidence. I'm still bitter, but try not to be.

At least he has been found, and reasonably quickly. That must give some comfort to the family to at least be able to have a proper funeral. Not that there's anything good about a funeral. If you know what I mean :(

For so long the vibe was that he was dumped in water, so I think that having a body to say goodbye to is a bittersweet blessing. Thinking of his family at this time.

I'm sure it happens sometimes and I've no idea how prevalent it really is. But it's not supposed to happen that way and I think there can be professional consequences if solicitors are found to breach the agreed standards. I'm sorry about your experience.

There are also subtler ways lawyers behave badly in court, intimidation and sexism, which don't seem to be in breach of their ethics and which need to change.

Possible human remains? What does that mean--burning?

No idea, but the media shouldn't be reporting anything if not verified IMO. Hope they get sued for it.

My friend is a criminal lawyer, obviously cant speak for every single lawyer on earth, but basically its their duty to try get as less as a possible sentence for their crimes and will advise consequences for pleading guilty etc but they definitely dont inform their clients to lie etc (unless they are crook themselves!)

Or maybe just bones. It's nearly a month since Sam disappeared....and that HUGE rain may have hastened the process of decomposition.

Decomposition will continue until body is nothing but skeletal remains, which can take as little as a month in hot climates and two months in cold climates.

If the two perps. are found to have been dealing in Ice across Qld. & into NSW they can face life in prison for that alone. Then add premeditated murder, for which there is video evidence of, and interference with a body, i think they will be going down for a long time if the case is proven at Trial.

Whether they find Sam or not i think there will be a good circumstantial case to prove murder and drug involvement, IMO.
