Guessing here of course but it would be too hard to move a body around a lot without arousing suspicion so i feel like he was left at the premises whilst they moved vehicles around and planned what to do next. The police searched the wetlands area and the nsw area where car was dumped and found nothing. The searches were extensive as i visited the wetlanda and police tape was marked in the detailed grid search styles

Yes, though I guess I am wondering because the police search in those wetlands did not happen until several days after Sam went missing. Once they received reports of Sam's car being sighted there for many hours on March 7th ... after MSM got hold of the story.

So I thought maybe Sam could have been dumped there first, then moved back to the house later ... perhaps.

Yes anything is possible isnt it. They would have had to hide him well though because the area is frequented by fisherman and boaties and the mangroves are not dense ie u can easily see through them from the car park.

Thanks, nickers. It is so great to have the local knowledge here. I really mean that. It is sooooo helpful. :)

BTW I agree with what you said before about RB's girlfriend having to have knowledge of the activities, and their implications. She needs to be assisting police, and I certainly hope that she is. No matter her possible trauma levels. She doesn't need to be seen as yet another depraved human being involved in this horrible murder and 'clean up'.

Yes, you can. Not that it happens very often. Unfortunately, we have followed crimes here where it is obvious that others are aware of the crimes/guilt of the offender. But those people have, frustratingly, not been charged with accessory after the fact ... or anything else.

It can happen though. Particularly if they did something themselves, like were active (knowingly) in the clean up after the fact.

Another little piece of info u might find interesting if u like putting together a visual timeline on a map, is the piece of footage of the chrysler tailing the mustang that was released is from a security camera from a residence on Kluver street and corner of bracken ridge road bald hills.

Maybe more than one site in the end, in an attempt to conceal identity :( such as the landfill also :(

Yes, I had thought about that, too. Perhaps identifying parts located (or not) elsewhere. :( :( :(

This senseless, gruesome crime must be so very, very difficult for Sam's family to even begin to come to terms with ... if they ever do. I am not sure that I ever could, if I was them.

As soon as I read that they had bought a tomahawk my first thoughts was that Sam's body was not in one piece.

Detective Inspector Tim Trezise at the entrance to a site of where a body was found in forest off Pumistone Road, Caboolture.

“Our suspicions are that he’s been missing since the 7th of March and he’s probably been here since the 7th of March,” he said.

Hmmm ... I wonder what the cutting tools purchased at Bunnings three days later were for then? Perhaps cutting up the carpet that they mentioned was removed? Disposing of it in bins - that then made it to a landfill? Further evidence for police to collect.

Or perhaps they needed to replace cutting tools that were used (and disposed of) that did not belong to them. Perhaps belonged to the house, or their families.

Unless the Bunnings info came in after Det Trezise spoke here?
Horrid thought, taken to the forest and tools used there? :dunno: awful to even think about.

The more I try to put a picture together of what happened (which is VERY unpleasant), the more unplanned it seems. The thing that gets me is that Sam did not plan to be out for long at all as he left his dog in his flat, so he would have been taken very much by surprise.

Yes do u think they planned to scar him and instead got put of control?

It could be as simple as an accidental one punch kill from anger and then the problem of the body. I really don't know.

Don't think anybody answered this, could somebody write up a time line of events ?
Was his car at Bald Hills before it was seen at Deep Water Bend ?
