Sorry I have already replied to this but would like to add maybe they didn't know what happened but knew the car once request for info came out ?

Car request camw out 22 march and on 24 march they wrote of the murder on his profile? Arrest was 31.

Well it is blindingly obvious that with Sam deceased, no owed money was going to be recouped. So the act must have released a pressure valve, and have been intended to stop him from dealing to their customers- which has been said before by myself and others. I had wondered if they didn't mean to kill him, but the more we hear, the more I think it was intended.

Yes I think you could be on to something there. Maybe ST was buying off RB but found a new supplier so he could keep selling but did not pay RB what was owed?

I guess if it's been going on a while, Maybe RB kept supplying him to try and recoup the money?

A relative of mine took off with some cash he'd collected doing work for bikies: a modest sum. He was given a beating and told to repay the money. He was told they'd allow some time for it, but if it became clear he had the money and wasn't doing right with paying it back or if he just made no effort, he'd be gone. Because although you can't repay money when you are dead, you're a good example not to rip them off. He took off. He paid it back via an intermediary in chunks but will still never come home.

But I don't think ST was expecting it that day. Sad business.

I also just keep thinking that if they planned it, surely a guy who apparently researched and planned Syria without leaving a trace, there would not have been such a mess of clues for LE? I just wonder if it all went south very quickly [emoji17]

But then SouthAussie made a good point a little while back - why would AD then be charged with murder as well as RB if he wasn't involved in the killing? They'd just charge him for 'interference with a body'.

Maybe to put the pressure on ? I am thinking they knew who owned the white car straight away after CCTV released and waited to see who contacted who and what was said maybe ? Then the pub CCTV came out also ? Thinking aloud with all this

I am wondering if they also informed parent, the post I stated before that I saw through someone else eluded to the wider group "knowing" the car but hoping not, if I saw the white car rego on police page others did too. ?? It stayed up a while before being removed. I do feel for the parents of arrested but not near as much as ST's

They wouldve seen the white car in the deep water bend car park cctv early on before the request came out.

They could just have circumstantial evidence but not concrete or provable in court. To me had he been there they would have told us ADs car was on cctv outside the house too, they may have just not told us but theyve released info about RB, they never said AD was with RB purchasing things and they said sams car is seen at the residense not ADs. Yes, some of us saw the rego, too. So I think a lot of people may have.
I even made note of it, for future reference, if needed.

Looks like there was quite a few ppl who knew something sinister had gone on. Dyball telling his friends about acid purchase etc and this person trying to alert his parents before the arrest occured.

Please do! I think most sleuths here did believe they all knew each other for a reasonable amount of time.

Many people also seemed accepting of the drug angle for ST and RB, and accepting of the killing angle for AD.

I guess everyone just wonders how they all fit together: who owed what to who and how that ended up with ST dead.

Unless the death was completely accidental or unexpected, killing someone is a big leap for most folks. I think there is some feeling/speculation that someone owed the other a lot of money or product (Gosh if it's for some pitiful trivial amount of money that's even more harrowing IMO), or someone had done the wrong thing and others were told to sort it etc. I guess we're just curious about the structure of their relationships.

Sorry was the date wrong I found the private message comment strange. Both pages can be commented on by anyone it appears. The white car was on police fb page on 22 or 23 and I wonder whether someone informed parents. IMO RB is the bad one (not based only anything reliable I admit) and I think AD got caught up sometime recent months but my issue with every scenario is they had well over 3 weeks to come forward.

Longer time passes guess maybe they think they are going to get away with it? Especially if the police at no time mentioned drugs, they may have thought they were in the clear. And without a body it could just be ST was in trouble and took off?

It is a horrible thought though.

I would need to check but I think yes request for info on car 22, post on parent 23 Private message comment or 24 and post on AD page after arrest. I think ? I am thinking someone seen car was shocked and had tried to warn parent maybe. I have also wondered if and everything is a big if AD is involved with RB doing illegal things was he trying to finance a trip back OS and it all went horrifically wrong ? Just a thought ?
