Dyball was on the police radar continously by the looks of things. Pretty sure they determined early on that he was involved before they released the footage of his car tailing sams; id say they wanted to see what info the public had to offer while they tried to get together all the evidence. JMO.

Unsure if he'd have been on the state police radar. Certainly on a travel watchlist/AFP radar given his recent adventures, I'd say. But from what people say AD did not have a history of trouble with LE. And if he did have a criminal history, MSM would have been all over that when reporting on his time in Syria, especially the media outlets that painted him as a criminal (other outlets took a more freedom fighter slant). It's widely reported AD told the AFP to charge him or leave him alone, that if he was found to be a criminal for his efforts overseas he'd do his time.

And yes agree, often when police request or share information, I think they have the bones of it and are hoping either (a) spurs contact between the alleged perpetrators where surveillance is in place or (b) encourages someone to inform/report.

Supposedly...

I'm not attacking anyone or anything. I never said your linked article didn't say assaulted. I simply said the article that accompanied the video of the burglary did not say assaulted. It's also noted ST's FB post about the burglary did not mention an assault.

Well that's weird then because this different msm article says the same thing
He said police were continuing to look into whether Mr Thompson's disappearance was linked to an incident in September, where he was assaulted by masked men during a home invasion and had his vehicle stolen.

So who knows? And we don't bring FB info. here, and i do not have access to ST's FB. If you can't link anything from FB then it can't be stated as fact. Maybe ST didn't want to say anything on his FB page because Police to date are still investigating that robbery, it has not to date been resolved.
I am simply here to get to the truth of why Sam was murdered and the facts, and that's all. I'm not interested in rumors. If you find my posts offensive just roll & scroll on by.

No dismemberment so not as big a psychopathic monster as you all portry hi m to be

That article doesn't state there was no dismemberment. They say Sam 'died after being bashed'. Which is what all of MSM is saying - he was assaulted. They haven't yet released cause of death OR how his body was disposed of. He may well have been dismembered for all we know.

It is understood the female occupant opened the door and was threatened with a gun as the men entered the house.

The male occupant was also threatened.

The men demanded the keys to the man’s car, while also stealing other items from the house.

They then fled the scene in the Mustang with the Queensland number plate “SAMMO”.

One of the men is described as solid build, 175cm tall with brown eyes, while the other is described as 160cm tall and of slim build.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, or if anyone recognises the two men to contact Crime Stoppers online or on 1800 333 000.

They alleged the 300c was tailing. With such distinct plates if he was up to no good dont you think he would remove the plates or switch them seeing as everyone portrays him to be such a bad ass??
The 300c has not been mentioned as to wherebouts at the time like they did with the Mustang being parked for hours out the front of Boscainos.

Sorry DRD isnt not alleged. They have cctv of dyballs vehicle at the wetland carpark and mobile phone pings of all his movements. Basically a map for all his movements. Imsorry if you know the family but its all been proven hence the charge to both boys.

Ah right, no dismemberment so its fine.

This totally changes my view of AD, I would definitely invite him over for dinner. .....

LOL, too funny.

Oh, was Kodie his dog's name? I didn't know that. Much love to him (I assume that's a boys name but I could be wrong). He'll be in mourning too, poor thing :sigh:

Thank you for sharing what you know, Marples. Much appreciated.

His dog's name was in earlier articles too, :)

Dyball had to be involved from the start because otherwise he wouldnt have a murder charge. Where his car was though only the cctv will show.

I thought that too. The police say though the Mustang was at RB's, I can't recall them saying the Chrysler was, so maybe that never showed up on anything?

As for the murder charge, I agree but also wonder if they have charged him in the hopes he'll provide information on RB. As they charged RB first. And it doesn't appear they found ST until they'd arrested AD. So maybe AD provided some info? Or maybe that's just when the phone tower info came back and they could track the movements? I wondered if the Chrysler wasn't anywhere on CCTV at RB's but AD's phone placed him there, thus seeing him charged with murder as the police claim ST never left RB's alive, So both RB and AD there when ST died?

No COD has been published yet, I don't think, so it may be difficult to determine which of them killed ST so they charged them both?

I don't think anyone said "psychopath" did they? He is a murderer.

Yes that word has been thrown around a fair bit. Nit here as such but elsewhere

However, this article does mention that the remains were not intact.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted today on human remains, believed to be Mr Thompson’s, after they were retrieved from a shallow grave in a forest along Pumicestone Rd, near Caboolture, yesterday morning..
The body parts were taken to the John Tonge Centre in Brisbane’s southwest. The crime scene was cleared yesterday.

The police at some stage stated they were looking for the white car in connection to Sam's disappearance. Would have to look for the articles as to when that was?
