Are you connected to late night precincts through work, play or research? If so, we want to hear from you! NightIdeas is a new blog designed to inform, inspire and link people with original ideas that promote vibrant, inclusive and safe night time entertainment precincts. The NightIdeas Blog seeks to draw on the collective knowledge of the community to build a playful but relevant resource that consolidates a range of innovative project ideas and experiences about the invigoration of late night precincts.
So, send us your descriptions of unique/logical/harebrained/clever/hilarious/effective ideas to create more exciting and safe night-time entertainment precincts. They might be projects that youve personally designed, been involved with or ideas that youve simply heard about through your networks, nights out or research.
What sort if information do we need? NightIdeas is interested in the idea as much as the innovative strategy that has been the focus of numerous academic publications, so it could be as little as a sentence or two describing the idea or as much as a detailed project description. If you visit
http://nightideas.tumblr.com/, youll get the flavour of what we need.
Note, Sources for all contributions will be referenced.
SO what are you waiting for? Send your ideas to
[email protected] and keep an eye on
