No, I am a farmer's daughter, and it's normal for a farmer to hide guns in sheds - you don't want the kids to find a gun in the house! So he hadn't necessarily planned it.

Well, maybe not, but one thing I can tell you about suicide, because of family experience, is that it's very very catching.
