So, all windows blacked out (catching up, sorry for rehash!)

All of the windows at the home are completely blacked out - hidden from public view - and overgrown shrubs and bushes climb the walls of the housing commission home located in Tonkin Crescent

He could be lying?? I mean I realise these things happen, but let's not get carried away. I would imagine he would be getting replies off the dark web (if that was the case) not random strangers asking to be friends with him on his public FB profile.
I agree, he seems like an attention seeker to me or he was paranoid after the alleged kidnap, he might have got one friend request and he goes on a rant. o_O
If he has connections to the dark web, those people wouldn't risk exposure on his fb, that's why it's called the dark web.

Yes but the previous poster stated that the collecting of dolls shows that the collector has a 'psychosexual dysfunction' a massive sweeping statement.... yes probably in this case, but the way the posted stated implied that they think any male collector of dolls is some sort of sexual deviant, which clearly is not true!
The way I think about the doll thing is, and let me say for the record I am very liberal when it comes to gender stuff, etc., is that the dolls seem to potentially be a relevant part of the puzzle here, psychologically on the part of the perp. Does this mean all (male) doll collectors are abductors, OF COURSE NOT, but psychologically imo from a criminology standpoint JMO I am not a criminologist, there could be a possible relation or representation to whatever his motivation was to the dolls, jmo.

It can also be stated that there are infinite cases, the majority, where no dolls are involved in abduction cases, so maybe it’s irrelevant, but jmo if I had to guess, there’s something possibly going on with the doll thing in HIS mind, JMO MOO. Hopefully most of you guys know me well enough here to know this is not stated in offensive way at all. I do think one can possibly look at the dolls to wonder if he wanted a real doll, or someone to play with the dolls with him. Whatever the case, abducting a child is not normal or right, so everything he did and was into now must come under the microscope. I hope this makes sense.

I think you're spot on.

Besides the abduction, which is reprehensible, his fb 'family' and stealing pics is pretty disturbing. He portrays himself as a caring parent and a stud. He's obsessed with young families and he's liked pages about missing children. A real mixed bag we've got here.
This is certainly a perp and case unique to the standard child abduction and murder. I’m not sure all people realize just how rare it is he kept her alive. We’ve seen it with Castro, Elizabeth Smart’s, Jaycee’s abduction and some others, but this all feels and seems different somehow. I’m not sure how how much more we’ll learn.

Yes, it's called a sexual fetish and is arguably a sexual paraphilia.
You can learn more here: Doll fetish - Wikipedia

From the above link:

“Doll fetishism
is a sexual fetish in which an individual is attracted to dolls and doll like objects such as figurines. The attraction may include the desire for actual sexual contact with a doll, a fantasy of a sexual encounter with an animate or inanimate doll, encounters between dolls themselves, or sexual pleasure gained from thoughts of being transformed or transforming another into a doll. Doll fetishism is a form of Agalmatophilia, which is itself a form of Object sexuality.

As a fantasy
Though not common it can involve intercourse or other sexual activity with dolls.”

Agree, and besides the glaring differences between animal figurines and female dolls, a man who has acted in a predatorial way against a small child and also has this unusal 'fixation' cannot be separated. They are more than likely related. Does this mean that everyone who collects dolls is a predator? No, but in this case, it is likely inextricably linked, and IMO, it is likely whole or part of the motive which cannot be ignored.

<modsnip>
Agree. Pretty much everything I said above.

Maybe she was rescued from the bathroom?!
CS was rescued from a bedroom, as confirmed at the WA Police conference on 3 November 2021, video on their FB page (approx 20:14 into vid)

Lucky she was found within 18 days, not 18 years!

The horror those young girls/women went through, unimaginable.

It goes to show how strong they are though. Doubt I would last 18 minutes, let alone 18 years!

Who said Women were the weaker sex!!!

WA Police acting Commissioner Col Blanch said mobile phone data and CCTV footage of a car entering Carnarvon the night CS vanished led police to raid Mr Kelly

Alleged abductor Terence Kelly had room full of dolls in Carnarvon house

From the above link:
““The lights were on and she was playing with toys, I think that’s about all I want to say. This is still a matter that needs to go before the courts. There’s certain aspects about what we saw that is going to be evidence,” he said.”

Noting, so she was allowed to play with the toys.

Do they have Mickey D's.down under?

Only thing I could find with.Bratz and Hot.Wheels were in happy meals.

Otherwise ain't no Bratz cruising in Hot Wheels. They got their own ride.

Can't believe I just typed that.

Google "Australia Maccas" and you will see the Aussie nickname for Mickey Ds. :)

(In fact, it might come up if you just google "Maccas" as Mickey Ds has added the word to their google searches in Australia, registered the word, and asked for it to be added to the Macquarie dictionary. Once they realised how much Aussies call them Maccas.)

Thanks SA maybe it’s a SA & WA thing or I’ve been living under a rock.

Not to go off topic .... but you might be one of the 45% (in 2013) that didn't call them that. Their recent 50-year anniversary advert thanks Australia for "re-naming" them. :)

I hope the dolls brought her some comfort and escape during her imprisonment, as awful as the situation is of her abduction.

However "dolls".... are likely going to be difficult issue at home. I would not want to be her parents, and I hope they get goooood counseling over this...

And if you look at the pictures showing the dolls on display, notice that all the lower shelves are empty! Something we all did in the toddler stage, right?

I just went back to get a picture of his doll shelves... so you can see the empty bottom shelves!! Toddler protection.
I wondered the same… but only high enough out of the way of a crawling toddler really. However if the collection isn’t big enough to fill every shelf maybe place them to display so you can see them all while lying on the bed?
