Does anyone know how good the mobile reception is in Ban Ban Springs and Biggenden?
The image of the white painted car taken in Biggenden certainly looks like the driver is on a call. The digital footprint the accused left behind will be interesting.

So far I haven't come across any mention of her entering a plea.
Maybe that will happen on Monday.

According to the QLD Law Handbook a plea isn't required until the full brief is ready, and as we see in the article extract above at post #70, this is expected to take 8 weeks. Being permitted 8 weeks is an indication of a complex case, as the normal deadline for production of the full brief in Qld is 5 weeks.

....Every person charged with an offence is entitled to put the prosecution to proof. If a defendant wishes to see all of the evidence collated by police in respect of a charge, either to decide what plea should be entered or to determine the scope of culpability for an offence that is accepted, the matter may be set down for a hearing without a plea being entered so that a full brief of evidence can be compiled and provided by the prosecution...

She had been living in a Maryborough caravan park at the time of her arrest.

The alleged arson in Tinana happened at a property on Eatonvale Rd and was of a Nissan Bus, Essential Caravan and carport

The stealing charge relates to the alleged theft of clothing from the Ban Ban Springs Road House on December 20

The sister of the man killed alongside his 10-year-old daughter in an alleged double murder has broken her silence following the fatal shed fire that killed them three weeks ago.

Lisa-Marree Mooney, sister of Todd Mooney and aunt of Kirra Mooney, shared her grief online following the deaths on December 20 in Queensland’s rural town of Biggenden.

Ms Mooney on Sunday told friends she was “broken” following the tragedy, which came before she and her brother had planned a double wedding with their respective partners on December 28.

“So no I didn’t get married as we supposed to do double wedding and now poor Rebecca has been left with no partner or child,” her post to Facebook read.

“My brother was so proud to finally marry the girl of his dreams and the mother of their beloved daughter just 10 years old.

“I am broken. Yet another sibling and niece we have lost. Not many of us left now.”

You can go another way (although about 30 mins longer) down the Burnett Highway and back up through Tiaro. A lot of Biggenden locals take this way to travel to Brisbane. She could have travelled either way.

Maybe law enforcement are trying to figure out which route she took? Appreciate your local knowledge, Betty. It’s mighty helpful.

After she allegedly torched the car, did she need another one.

Ie is that what the stealing charge at Ban Ban Springs is about.

Perhaps she stole petrol to light the fires, which is another reason they wanted the dashcam footage from people at the service station in Ban Ban Springs?

I was wondering if she lit the fatal shed fire without knowing that there were people inside. However, I doubt she would be charged with murder if that was the case. There are other charges which would fit better - like arson causing death.

She stole clothing at the Ban Ban roadhouse. According to MSM.

And regarding fuel - certain roadhouses are prepaid so it’s not possible to steal fuel. I’m not sure if Ban Ban is one of these prepaid establishments.

and made her way back to MaryB and then torched the car when she got there. I wonder if the property she torched the car was known to her or just a random spot.
