Detectives are also appealing for any motorists travelling along the Isis Hwy between Goomeri and Biggenden between 11am and 1pm on December 20

Do we know where the CCTV of the car was taken from?

The Daily M have exclusively revealed that the Kristen Olsen had spray painted her vehicle white, when it was previously red in colour.

There’s a good photo in the article of the roadhouse at Ban Ban.

Behind a pay wall.
It was revealed here on WebSleuths on Saturday. See link to the post on this attached.

It’s nice to know the media have picked up on this discrepancy and written about it.

I wonder why the accused chose to paint her vehicle? It’s interesting isn’t it....

The news reports I've seen said the fire at the Tinana property was on a Nissan. So where was the red/white Holden van set on fire?

Have found where one of the released CCTV footage was from.
The QLD police released CCTV it is shown at 10.00.38 am 20/12 the white van was captured CCTV driving on Walsh St past the showground in Biggenden.

The distance between CCTV on Walsh St to Fenwick where the fire was is 4.2km and 5min. This was the direction the van was heading shown in the police released CCTV. So did she arrive at 1005 am at the Fenwick Rd property?

From ABC:
Anyone who may have seen the vehicle between 10am and 2pm between Biggenden and Ban Ban Springs on December 20 is urged to contact police.

Police were called to the property with emergency services just after 12pm.

Lisa-Marree Mooney speaks after brother Todd and niece Kirra killed in Biggenden fire | 7NEWS

In the video attached (7 news exclusive), sister Lisa-Maree Mooney says of accused K Olsen “we don’t know her from a bar of soap.”

For those not in Australia, this turn of phrase typically means to be ‘completely unacquainted with.’

So the family haven’t heard of her.

How can that be when K Olsen’s sister works in and runs her business from the building next to where Todd Mooney’s bakery is located?

It’s a small town. Granted, sister Lisa-Marree is not herself a local, being a resident of interstate town Armidale, NSW.

The family is struggling to wrap their heads around how someone, with whom they have no ties, could allegedly commit an act like this.

“We don’t know her from a bar of soap,” Lisa-Marree said. “She’s just somebody that none of us has ever laid eyes on.”

“(She wasn’t) a customer, she didn’t live in Biggenden when Todd and Bec first moved there.

“Bec said she’s never seen her before in her life. Bec’s a very honest person, she’d remember her face.”

I just find this case so odd. From CCTV released the van is shown at 10 am driving through Biggenden, under 5km from where the murders took place. Emergency services did not arrive until after 12.

Why did the accused go to this property of people unknown to her? Was she at the property from after 10am?

I wonder if Todd might have had something for sale like car parts, camping gear or something? maybe an ad somewhere that she was coming to look at the goods

A travel blogger charged with the double murder of a baker and his daughter in regional Queensland has a wild romantic past and was in a bizarre love triangle.

A video obtained by Daily Mail Australia shows accused killer Kristen Olsen, 24, and one of her romantic interests being detained by police in a wild scenes where she screams and cries on the street.

It can also be revealed that, in a strange coincidence, Olsen's sister runs Acacia Nails & Beauty in the building next door to the bakery on Biggenden's main street owned by Todd Mooney, 54.

Mr Mooney was allegedly killed alongside his daughter Kirra, 10, five days before Christmas.

Olsen's sister Sam, who runs the business on Edward Street, Biggenden, changed her name on Facebook to Sam Moody on Wednesday after her younger sister was charged with the alleged double murder.

I actually mentioned this on WebSleuths last night at around 8pm.

It’s almost like the Daily Mail is just a few hours behind us.... the article was filed at 7:22pm this evening.

I guess it takes a few hours to make it’s way through “legal” IMO.

It’s nice to know we are on the right track.

But it also means this is a very complicated case. And it’s all getting very, very real.

I first heard about it within a few hours of her being named.
But just on another forum, not main stream media so of course I couldn't post it here.

The news outlets quite often have their own investigative journalists, or know more than they're able to publish.

I feel sympathy for her family. It must be a terrible shock

It’s nice for the public to be able to read information about this case that is pertinent and is not behind a paywall, so I’m happy the info is getting out in the pubic domain.

It’s also nice to see female journalists breaking exclusive content, so good on them.

<comment was snipped from quoted post>

It's only obvious now that it has been confirmed by a main stream media outlet.
Before it was just someone commenting on Facebook.

I was wondering if she lit the fatal shed fire without knowing that there were people inside. However, I doubt she would be charged with murder if that was the case. There are other charges which would fit better - like arson causing death.
There are probably things we don't know, that the police do. Things I have considered since this story broke include - why were an adult man and his daughter who is closer to teenage than to a babe in arms, unable to escape?

I strongly suspect that we are not being told something like - she barricaded them in. And then lit the place up. That's not arson causing death, that's deliberate. Homicide using fire as your murder weapon.

Very much MOO.
