I am beginning to think this was pre-meditated from waaaaaay back. I would be very interested in knowing about any incidents involving girls at his private school (if anyone will find the courage to talk about him) and work history (which can be so illuminating).

He sure does have a blatant disregard for human life. My goodness. Fancy this happening, then he goes off for a pizza. Not manslaughter! He is a self obsessed, calculating person with disregard for everything but himself. Oh and don't we all feel sorry for him getting beaten up in prison - not! Yes, I really do think he fabricated some or possibly all of it. How can I put this? Rrie demands her phone back -- he says she isn't being nice or fun, expresses disappointment in her. Rrie aggressively demands he untie her, let her go home, Tostee says she's threatening him. She might have chucked something at him or taken a swipe with a handy lamp, who knows, trying to get past him and to her clothes or the door, or her phone... which he took, so she could not call police... and he whines that she's "trying to kill" him.

IMO it was all about setting her up to fail, so he could get himself all outraged at the "bad girl" and then punish her, as was his fantasy. Only it wasn't consensual, safe BDSM that turned Tostee on, was it. Like when he tried to outrun the cops that time.. 200kph. I completely agree with you on both points!!..& definitely was thinking how much he was fabricating knowing full well he was recording from 1am onwards. Interesting he starts recording at that time & not earlier.
