Justice Mullins says murder/manslaughter, doesn't make that much difference to the bail application. #tostee

Justice Mullins says sentences for both are severe, so risk of flight is still there. #tostee

Sounding good for no bail ...... :skip:

Justice Mullins: It will be a difficult case for the prosecution in relation to murder if he wasn't on the balcony at the time. #tostee

Justice Mullins says reasonably strong case for manslaughter. Depends what was happening in the apartment beforehand. #tostee
I always thought he wasnt on the balcony but locked her out...hmmmm..

Justice Mullins to Mr Kimmins: I don't think you can proceed on the basis that it's objectively a weak case. #tostee

sorry I missed this tweet

Kate Kyriacou ‏@KateKyriacou 3m

Justice Mullins says the autism should have been addressed by Tostee or his parents.

Kate Kyriacou @KateKyriacou · 5m

Justice Mullins says Tostee's diagnosis of autism could explain his lack of sociability.

Mr Kimmins says he is instructed that Tostee has seen specialists in the past and can't provide a date of his last assessment.

Gable Tostee may not have been on the balcony

Highrise death plunge murder accused Gable Tostee is making a bid for his freedom in the Brisbane Supreme Court this morning as police allege they have explosive evidence against him
A forensic medical report detailing injuries sustained by Gable Tostee has been tendered to court and audio recordings will be forensically examined
Police prosecutor Sarah Farnden presented the new affidavit to Justice Debra Mullins before a courtroom packed with media
Tostee, 28, has been in prison since August 15 following his arrest for the murder of NZ woman Warriena Wright after she plunged 14-storeys to her death from his Surfers Paradise apartment a week earlier

I like this judge.
Yes was thinking the same thing myself, seems very on to it, and liked what she/he said defending the media.

Woo hoo!!! Am pleased with that result!:happydance:

Hello Sleuthers! I'm back - missed you all - have been following the case in msm, but it's just not the same as being on WS!!:loveyou:

Will be interesting to see what the specialists in the past have diagnosed him with......

And thank you so much for the updates, Amee!! As ever, you rock!!

I don't believe being on the autism spectrum is grounds for being allowed bail.
I don't even see any evidence of Aspergers.

I'm actually surprised that the defence didn't come in with the whole autism issue straight away. I expected them to play that card for all it is worth..........
