Judgmental, puerile & immature - now there's a combination Tostee had down pat when he scored his conquests /10 on BB forum, eh THP?

Based on Tostee's own actions & words, I see a pattern consistent with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. JMO.

I wonder if the following would resonate with him:

http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...onality-disorder/basics/symptoms/con-20025568

NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER

- Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance
- Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
- Exaggerating your achievements and talents
- Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
- Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
- Requiring constant admiration
- Having a sense of entitlement
- Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
- Taking advantage of others to get what you want
- Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
- Being envious of others and believing others envy you
- Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence, it's not the same.Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal and value yourself more than you value others.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...r-aid-prosecution-alleged-balcony-murder.html

The US administrators of Tinder are being pushed by Australian authorities to aid their search for more than 50 women from Australia and overseas who were allegedly contacted by Mr Tostee via the app.

Bail documents indicate that investigators are pursuing statements from the women and have requested data from both Mr Tostee and Ms Wright's Tinder accounts, reported The Australian.

I hope they found these women to give statements.

BTW The pic of him in this article is scary especially his statement underneath (love thyself)

I know, right? Like.. if he was 15, I could *kinda* get it. But the man's 30 years old. Who does this, at his age...

I just don't understand why an adult would post something like this.

A photo released to Daily Mail Australia shows a post Mr Tostee loaded onto the Facebook page 'Hottest/beautiful teenagers', with the caption: 'I am feeling ultra sexy today cus I just got a new haircut. It gets me all kinds of pu**y. My friends have the same haircut cus they saw all the 🤬🤬🤬 I pull and well, they get lots of pu**y too.'
The photo was posted to the page in January of this year, with Mr Tostee commenting later 'I took this photo with my d**k'.

Hi, a little birdie asked me to pop in to see if I could help with some legal questions. I haven't been on this case in ws before but I have followed the case in MSM. I have the read the last couple of pages on this thread and think it might be easier to suggest that people post specific legal questions for me to attempt to answer. I also need to listen to the recording which I presume is available on the timeline page?
Good to see some familiar posters here.

Five-point checklist to tell if you are a sex addict or just reeeaaally like getting physical
SEX addicts, like alcoholics, struggle to stay sober. In this case sexually sober.
Their lives are consumed by the next physical fix, just as alcoholics’ actions are driven by drink.
But in a world where sex — or at least the hint of it — is everywhere, from billboards to our screens, it is no surprise that many of us spend a great deal of time thinking about it.
So how do you know if you are addicted to sex — or just have an extremely large, but otherwise normal, appetite for distraction?

1) did Tostee get to keep this money?
2) making fake IDs for underage schoolies. The danger of giving a free ticket to alcohol to young children is an irresponsible criminal act. A recipe for disaster.

Australia's Nine News reported Tostee was known to police for a fraud he was previously involved in that netted him and two friends AU$30,000 (NZ$32,800). The trio were found guilty in 2004 of making hundreds of fake ID cards for underage teenagers attending end-of-exams party week known as Schoolies.

BBF - That night, the police seized my phone and my parents phones, where they found the recording.
While I did not expect them to seize it, it is completely untrue that I tried to delete it, as it proved what happened.

If he thought it proved what happened why didn't he ring 000, then his lawyer (for advice) hang around and hand over the phone?

This article published yesterday: If you thought wiping your mobile phone once deleted it's contents ............THINK AGAIN

Did he delete it once?
Or
Is this what he wanted to be seized?

THP -- a couple pages back, you said Tostee had asked Rrie to leave and she wouldn't, and claimed he was scared for his life. I disagreed, citing that the recording does not support either of those opinions. You asked me to show you -- and I made a lengthy reply, with transcripts from the recording, and asked you some questions.

Have you seen that reply?

Having followed your conversations over the past few weeks, I can only conclude that there are some very insightful and caring people on this forum. I really hope the truth will eventually come to light. <modsnip>

<modsnip>Maybe he tried doing the same thing with the girl that ran out after being "manhandled" and he only documented that in the forum to cover his base and give his "version" in case that ever came to light. The derogatory comments that he has made towards women on that body building forum say a lot about him. Coupled with the recording, one doesn't need media to paint a picture of his character- he has already done that for himself.

Sounds like we have reached pretty much the same conclusions, Justice000, particularly about his voice and knowing there was evidence in everything he said. I think your gut is right, for all the same reasons. I've long looked at that previous balcony incident as a precursor for this one, and seen his creepier behavior with women as a fantasy being formed and coming to fruition - perhaps not precisely as planned, idk.. but I do think he'd rehearsed some it in his head. And that he was manipulating events toward a conflict, in which he knew he would be the one in control -- he made damn sure of it, with his rocket fuel.

People saying "Oh I knew him/dated him/have read his forum posts and he was so NICE" need to be reminded that Dennis Rader was married with kids, nicest feller out. John Wayne Gacy was a pillar of his community. There's lots of other dramatic examples out there of psychopaths who've fooled most of the people, most of the time. They can do this pretty easily - because they're psychopaths. You can pick 'em by the lies, the way they minimise their crimes and wrongdoings, divert blame, refuse to accept authority and culpability. Sometimes they make a good show of being contrite, once caught out - that's how Ed Kemper got out of the mental ward and chummed it up with the local PD while he went about slaughtering co-eds.

Not that I think Tostee's up there with the likes of all them as far as psychopathy goes, and as deep... but he's "not right" as my nanna would say. And there's several frightened girls and one dead one, who found that out first hand.

I honestly do not know how anyone could not see it in him, given the information at hand.

Anyways, welcome to the forum and thanks for your insightful post.

Did he realise the police were trying to find the identification of a young woman lying dead on the pavement so her family could be contacted? The selfish coward ran away and didn't give a toss. OMG it's pathetic.

Hutchinson said neighbours heard loud voices and noises coming from the apartment. But when police arrived at the scene, nobody was inside.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/10367377/Kiwi-dies-after-Surfers-Paradise-balcony-fall

Exactly!

GT fled the crime scene with the help of his father. Says it all right there. :stormingmad:

 • #175
Yep …. I think most parents would immediately take their adult child to the police station, tell them to sit there and say nothing, and wait till the parent got the lawyer and the lawyer arrived.

Tostee and his dad would have known darn well that this was the correct thing to do (after the incorrect thing of fleeing the scene was already done).

So why the 8½ hour delay in turning himself in? Why does Tostee’s recording suddenly stop when they are hiding in the car? Leads me to believe that some manipulation of evidence was being discussed and then occurred.

Imo, the tape won't be used in evidence. GT and his DT will have to give his account of the night while the prosecution will give theirs, derived from physical evidence, witness statements, forensic reports, character references etc. His actions before, during and after the incident will be his downfall. He will never be able to find an excuse for shutting a drunken and confused Rie out on the balcony when he could have shown her the door. He'll most likely will be charged with manslaughter and receive a small or suspended sentence. :/

GT had no physical injuries to claim he was beaten or held against his will, he plied Rie with dangerously high alcohol content homemade liquor on his own premises, he taped his conquest without her permission, ( he told Rie just before she fell to her death, too late and tape won't be heard anyway) he placed his visitor in a dangerous position where she feared for her life and locked her out on the balcony, he never called for assistance on a phone he used to call his lawyer and dad 'after the event', he fled the scene instead of following duty of care, which is to call 000 and remain at the scene.

GT is a 'drama queen' and his life will always be filled with 'incidents', hopefully, never again as tragic as the night he caused the death of Rie. GT sees himself as a victim in every situation, no wonder he had no real life friends, the guys who support him online wouldn't have given him the time of day before Rie's death. They're fascinated with the idea of 'kooky' young women taking advantage of them. GT's an embarrassment to all that it means to be a man or even a decent human being.

GT brought this upon himself and now wants to walk away from being held responsible so he can do it again. Even a short sentence in jail will not curb his love of 'drama'. I just hope women will be wary of him for the rest of his days.

Actually, there were reports documenting GT's wounds and scratches consistent with a struggle.

Excerpt from a news article from September 2014 and link.

A six-page medical report tendered on Monday detailed a series of scratches, abrasions, red marks and scabs found on Mr Tostee's body on August 8.

^ And *that* is why they'll insist on the tape being heard. Without it jury will see only "dead girl, man covered in scratches" and even the probably manipulated recording, which might very well promote less culpability than there actually was but still proves assault and deprivation of liberty , is better than that. For him.

Since the cops are saying it'll take so many months to gather their case, I have to wonder if forensic audio is part of that... I really hope so.

Dear Alioop --- I know you said it'd likely be a question for jurors etc, but if this tape was excluded, what are the most likely grounds for that happening?

Thanks for the link, the doctor's report is interesting as he suggests some marks were not from that night or may even be self-inflicted. The other injuries were pretty minor, but enough evidence of a scuffle. I wonder how many scratch and finger marks were on Rie's body and neck?

I remember the pics of GT with a few scabs on his arms and legs, nothing to suggest he was seriously hurt, and imo if he was, he would have stayed at the crime scene to talk to police. He fled because he was unhurt and probably pretty sober, he knew it looked bad and removed himself from the site.

He had plenty of time to inflict those wounds prior to his interview with police IMO. I'm hoping his DNA isn't under Rrie's nails.
