Warriena Tagpuno Wright was a beautiful daughter, sister and friend.

BBM:  A beautiful person, who took care of her sister and was pro-active in the movement for all creatures to be treated kindly.

Merry Christmas and blessings to all of my WS mates, may it be a peace-filled time for you all. :santahat:

And may it be a time of smiles for Rrie's family, as they sit together and remember the beautiful and funny things that she did and said ... and a time for solace as they cling to their faith for healing.

personally I think Candace Sutton for Daily Mail Australia has done a great job of reporting.
Who knows she maybe even attend court to report on the trial when that time comes.

A great job of reporting? What does this even mean, they could literally say anything, and you would have no way to verify it, so you could then just say, "ah great job reporting that"

The amount of times the media completely makes things up, never actually acknowledges it eventually turning out to be wrong, and just pretends like they didn't say it is hilarious. We're talking about The Daily Mail here, it's the same as 'The Sun, Mirror, Star, Sport' it just doesn't have a red top.

A photo released to Daily Mail Australia shows a post Mr Tostee loaded onto the Facebook page 'Hottest/beautiful teenagers', with the caption: 'I am feeling ultra sexy today cus I just got a new haircut. It gets me all kinds of pu**y. My friends have the same haircut cus they saw all the 🤬🤬🤬 I pull and well, they get lots of pu**y too.'

The photo was posted to the page in January of this year, with Mr Tostee commenting later 'I took this photo with my d**k'.

Speaking for myself, I find the "leak" of the recording extremely weird... as a key piece of evidence, it would be held close by police. So who released it, and why? I thought Tostee himself, perhaps, or someone close to him. And the only reason I can think of is to get it excluded..
Perhaps you could also highlight why the transcript, which of course we all know has "selective" quotes, was leaked from the police brief? Someone should be getting their backside kicked over that, to the point of losing their job. Terry OGorman was scathing of that, and rightly so. These little slips will could play a part in considering whether he should be discharged due to an unfair trial, tainted by public prejudice and breaches of the rules of evidence.

Wouldn't that actually have been an oversight on his own lawyer's behalf, if indeed there was any problem with the docs ending up in the media? I am sure this is part of why he sacked his lawyer and accepted O'Gorman's offer in the first place.

There's actually lots of conflicting claims coming from Tostee re his 'cameras' and 'recording devices'. He flat out denies having camras in the apt, but there's the wallet-girl video... perhaps he doesn't count webcam as a 'camera'.. :waitasec: .. or perhaps he's lying.
Not conflicting at all. That video was taken in his previous lodging, NOT Avalon. Police have not refuted GT's claim that his current apartment has no such fixed cameras. Perhaps hes telling the truth.

As for "no evidence the apartment was set up with cameras or surveillance equipment"-- what do they reckon that drone was?
How is a drone supposed to function as a surveillance camera for the apartment? Is it magically supposed to hover at the right position outside the apartment windows without anyone in the apartment seeing it?
Something seems off here. jmo

No fixed cameras? What about the Skype camera mounted on his PC monitor in his bedroom and pointing towards the bed? The pic possy posted.

Fancy moves, OMG she was screaming for help in the very last last moments of her life.
Comments like that make me so sad.
Warriena Tagpuno Wright was a beautiful daughter, sister and friend.

TGY, you verbalised my thoughts exactly.

Finding humour and pleasure at another's distress and pain is sadistic and twisted.

I thought it might be interesting to bring up some details about the case which police are comparing Warriena's alleged murder to. Very interesting!!

Murder Trial Follows Woman's 6-storey Fall

Tuesday August 2, 1988

A 33-year-old tattooist charged with murdering his girlfriend had wept when he cradled her head after she had fallen six storeys from a Kings Cross flat, the Central Criminal Court was told yesterday.

The Crown has alleged that after a violent scene in the flat, Kym William Royall, of Macquarie Fields, either forced the woman out the bathroom window or she fell because she was backing away from him in fear

As Miss Healey was taking a shower, Royall "in effect broke into the bathroom and out she went, naked, six floors down".

Mr Bannon said that if Miss Healey did jump from the window, she had been trying to get away from Royall.

Another very interesting read here regarding the case.
