Oh my goodness we is on air again. :happydance: I was hyperventilating with withdrawals for that nano minute.

I feel like I've got Stockholm syndrome.
I'm held hostage, I can run but I feel safe here with my captor and the other hostages.

lol those pics show what? An average dude. Look at some more of his photos on Google, you'll see he aint buff by any stretch of the imagination. All the brahs on BBF scoffed at the suggestions in the media reports that he was a body builder. Not one person there agreed he was developed.

And this link - hes started to lose some body fat and tone up a little in the shirtless pic, but no way would he be much over 90 kg.

Also look at the video on that page. Look at his ordinary arm and thin legs. Yep 90 kg, <modsnip> H'es just tall. Carpet laying doesnt make you strong either.

Strong enough to lift this young woman and throw her over his shoulder....

Sammy Soden, 18, met Tostee about three months ago. She told the Weekend Herald he was highly "sexual" in his Tinder messages. And when he met her at Club Liv, he was drunk and pawed her, she said.

She and two girlfriends went back to his apartment, where she, too, said he was "creepy".

"I walked through the door and he lifted me up, threw me over his shoulder and threw me on the couch," she said. "He was incredibly confident."

Not because they thought he dropped a person over a balcony. They concluded she climbed over herself while Tostee "probably wasn't on the balcony". Why do some here seem to believe she was dropped off?

Tostee himself raised those possibilities during the conversation that he knew he was recording with his father. IMO

3.23am - I might have a bit of a situation ............................I think she might have jumped.

Two minutes later I Never Forced her Over the balcony.

Then 27 minutes later I cant remember what I did but I absolutely did not throw her of my balcony.

I just don't get it - that anyone (known to the police or not) would leave the scene with the victims phone and expect that people would not question his version of events as per transcription and MSN reports.

12th January is only in 2+ weeks away that'll be here quick smart and that's scary how time flies.

I genuinely hope Gabel is living in a controlled environment living with his parents as it was the only alternative from gaol.

Bring on the 12th. :D

Have I got this right, someone help me here...I must be wrong.
Warriena fell to her death on 8th August and Tostee was arrested on 15th August.
When did Tostee first hand himself in?
Surely he must have showered in that 7 days. Did he see the police before that arrest on 15th. Thanks guys I need that cleared up.

Justice for Warriena. Australia has got you baby.
OUR COPS ARE TOPS!

She diedin the early hours of the same day police questioned Mister Tostee.

Mr Tostee, 28, was questioned by police on Friday and released without charge. He has since been staying at his parents’ house, which police visited over the weekend when they collected CCTV footage.

I have been looking up penalties for Tostee’s driving-while-intoxicated-evading-police car chase charges. Not sure what the actual charges are, but these seem relevant …

For driving while almost 5 times over the limit, it seems that currently he can be up for a maximum of 9 months in jail, maximum fine of $3,187.80, minimum license disqualification of 6 months.
https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/road-safety/drink-driving/penalties/charged/

For evading police, he can be up for a minimum fine of $5,500 or 50 days in jail, and minimum 2 years mandatory license disqualification.

For dangerous driving (while intoxicated), he can be up for a maximum of 5 years imprisonment or 400 penalty points (which I think equates to a $44,000 fine).

Another thing I realised is that Tostee apparently linked the audio files to the 2,000 word 'Regarding the balcony tragedy' post he put onto the bb forum. I guess that could be a really good indicator as to who put those audio files up onto a public domain site.

No wonder O'Gorman couldn't bring himself to comment on the website post.

Police are investigating a 2000-word post – titled “Regarding the balcony tragedy” – made under the user name “GT” on a bodybuilding forum yesterday.

The post contained graphic descriptions and commentary on the case as well as links to audio files.

Interesting. Thanks South Aussie!.

BBM

"Mr Power said submissions that Tostee’s offending was caused by alcohol were not borne out by the evidence and that Gray Tostee’s actions on the night, in helping his son avoid immediate police attention, were “significant”.

He added that Tostee was likely to be jailed if found guilty of charges over a New South Wales police chase two weeks before Ms Wright died, during which he was shot with capsicum spray which failed to subdue him."

So why didn't the capsicum spray work on Tostee? In looking around it seems that it may not work on really drunk people, enraged people, mentally ill people, and drugged people - because they may be pain-resistant.

ETA: This site says that capsicum spray may also not subdue 'goal oriented' people. And Tostee certainly proved he was goal oriented when he kept driving on his rims.

Excellent spot, SA, re the recording!

There were about 32 screams. Your theory doesnt hold up IMO, because then it would mean that the witnesses from below would have heard GT clearly say 'I would but you have been a bad girl.' and WR say ' Just let me go home.' as he would have been right on the edge of the balcony, so his words would be clear. There are no reports of the lower apartment witnesses hearing this I believe. So i believe it all happened inside. Thats how It ties in with the transcript.

The comment GT makes to WR to "shut her filthy mouth" was because he was embarrassed about the noise she was creating inside , so he would hardly drag her outside and over the balcony ledge to make a further ruckus as you claim.

The premise that he would do something like put someone's life at risk by seating them on a 14th story balcony ledge and letting them stay there whilst he went inside is an extremely long bow to draw, and IMO, implausible.

I didnt know until recently that these 2 other witnesses held supposed crucial testimony. Does anyone know what the relationship of the two female witnesses is? Ellis lives directly below, where was the other one durig the incident?

Bold 1: I was referring to her final 3 screams, the ones heard by neighbours right before she died.

Bold 2: The neighbours DID hear Warriena screaming "just let me go home" -- and Tostee doesn't give his sick "bad girl" speech until a split second before the door slams shut. He had plenty of time to put her over the rail and run for the door. If he was closer to the door, of course the neighbours might not hear him over Warriena's terrified screams. Oh wait.. ;)

Bold 3: Lolwut. He's embarrassed because of the noise she's making inside... so doesn't drag her out on the balcony (except.. he did) where her pitiful screams for mercy can be heard by many more neighbours? Nah. Logicfail. See point below.

I don't know why anyone would even bother *trying* to argue that Tostee was not on the balcony with her at all prior to her fall --- when he himself HAS ADMITTED to being so.... multiple times!

I can imagine his fear of his neighbours hearing a woman screaming from his appartment in the dead of night.

HOW CAN I STOP HER SCREAMING QUICKLY?........INSTANT SILENCE. and close the doors

The neighbours saw Warriena's feet, her screams, her fall AND WHICH UNIT SHE CAME FROM.

Is that why he left the unit thinking the police wouldn't know where Warriena fell from?

Gable Tostee, accused murderer, suffers social anxiety and alcohol disorder: psychiatrist

The man accused of murdering a New Zealand tourist on the Gold Coast has been diagnosed with a social anxiety and alcohol disorder, the Supreme Court in Brisbane has heard.

The psychiatrist said Tostee was not suffering from an autism spectrum disorder.

So every time GT is charged with an offense, he will have a mental condition that suits?!

Two things to remember:

Considering that it can be proved (by the recording) that Tostee assaulted Rrie, frightened her, and used brute force to lock her out on his balcony …..

… Judge Debra Mullins said Tostee’s intentions were irrelevant under the second definition of murder …
