Why did they not bring out, as witness's, the other girls he had hook ups with? Would that not show a pattern of predatory behavior? Or is there a legal reason they couldn't?

predatory doesn't mean he is in the habit of hurling women off his balcony ...... I am sure this was Gabe's first try at real intimidation, physical, mental, and actual, and it went haywire... all the other girls might have been able to bolt out the front door, before their experience became Warriena'.s

(My bolds) The logical (forget the legal technicalities) reason would be.....there was nothing predatory about his behaviour.

Oh here we go, the victim is the strange one, not Tostee, he's a normal good looking fella, can't be strange, that's reserved for the ugly men. Tostee is alpha, all the way. /sarcasm

How many second dates would the guy have had? One if he was lucky.

Yes, she was clearly very drunk. Precisely why he shouldn't have forced her out onto a balcony.

Yet after complaining that she'd had "too much to drink", he gave her more.

Moments like these I wish the prosecution had a chance to cross-examine Tostee.

what don't we SEE on the recording?>. we don't SEE what he did that made her jump the railing.. it had to be something so menacing that jumping the railing was actually a choice.. ...
Or maybe, as the audio confirms, she was just REALLY drunk and not thinking straight?

It's a pity that she was so drunk, causing her to not be thinking straight......Did he actually put her over the railing or was it her choice to do so?.......She probably lost her balance & couldn't hang onto the balcony railing any longer, causing her to fall to her death...... She would have been scared out of her mind.

All she needed to do was to scream out "HELP" to the neighbours UNTIL SHE WAS HEARD BY THEM...... Neighbours would have called the police to come to her rescue, arrested him, taken him to the watchouse & laid assault charges, but as we know he went out for pizza & was not in his apartment when she actually fell.......So sad.

I have been in a similar situation, but I had not been drinking when my partner who was drunk & violent (as I was a victim of domestic violence in the relationship at the time).....I was in a highrise apartment only on the 3rd level.....I raced out onto the balcony, screamed for help...... A neighbour from another unit balcony heard my cries for help & called the police...... Police were on their way.......I remained on the balcony until the police arrived......They arrested him & took him away to be charged......They issued him with an AVO & I moved away the following day never to return again......There is help out there if you scream out for help.

Such a pity that "W" didn't have the same opportunity as me to escape from such a shocking tragedy......My heart goes out to her family....MOO.
