"However, a police informant involved with the case attended and sat in the public gallery."

Who would that be? And how would ABC know it was a police informant? Unless it was something that was revealed during one of the mentions.
It appears the information was discovered and released to the police by an informant. It could be a financial investigator working for the NSW Crime Commission, or an ATO employee, etc. I’m thinking it’s something along those lines, an unsworn person. JMO

They are still being protected by the cloak of anonymity, even though they have no foster children in their care.

why does ffc still have name suppression, shes surely no longer a foster carer and no longer linked to williams sister, so there is no longer any danger of any childs identity being revealed
WEll, what happens if she is found not guilty of all the current charges? What if the charges are all dropped or they are found not guilty?

Would their foster child be returned IF the child wanted to be back in their home?

There's been nothing in the media/news to suggest that she is no longer a POI.
Why did it say 'for a period of time last year' she was a POI?

yes they may be innocent and their life a living hell, and my and other peoples dislike for them of course doesnt make them guilty, i dont wish them harm but i do wish they would stop hiding and be honest, and at least apologise for losing william, at least show some humility
apologies for my angry rant which isnt helpful and doesmt help william
Would you say these same things if they were the bio parents and their boy went missing, and presumed dead? Would you want them to make a public apology for 'losing' their child?

I wonder if people think the Morcombes should apologise to their parents for losing their grandchild?

The charges against the 56-year-old woman, who cannot be identified, are in relation to evidence she gave during a hearing into William's disappearance from his foster grandmother's home on the Mid North Coast in 2014.

I wonder what the source is for that information, or if it is an assumption.

I have posted information (by the DT and The Australian) about the confirmation of the photo time as 9:37am, but that has been questioned here because the source wasn't named/identified.

Very much doubt any child would be returned to their care considering FFC is putting forward she is not competent and responsible for her own actions under the mental health act

Who knows, but whoever the 'source' is, seems to know an awful lot about the case details.
Earlier this year, William's foster father, who cannot be named, also pleaded not guilty to two charges of giving false or misleading evidence to the crime commission.

The 55-year-old will front court for a two-day hearing in October where audio recordings of his police interviews will be played.

I think we need to hear what her mental health defence is before believing that the contention is that she is not (or was not) competent and responsible for her own actions.

Common knowledge. Which has been published by many media publications.

I consider CO to have a LOT of knowledge about case details, and she was one of the journos who stated that the photo time is 9:37am.

ETA link:
About 3/4 of the way down the page in this Australian article (dated 19th Nov 2021) CO says "But William was photographed in his now famous Spider-Man suit at 9.37am, meaning he must have still been alive when his foster father left the house, or else he couldn’t have been in that picture."

Thanks for the correction, for the life of me I don't know where I read it was not in relation to WT.

Yes, I would like to see a link.

I think you just replied to my post which includes the link? It only took me a few seconds to grab it.

I don't know but she is obviously still a POI.
It’s not obvious though, that’s why we are discussing it. The link provided is from a recent article. Has there been anything published recently to say she was still a POI? Otherwise we have to go on the latest information from msm
