So he just happened to have an accomplice, who went to the cafe and ordered 2 x coffees in order to provide him with an alibi that morning?
NO, it just means that his wife ordered 2 coffees, because she planned to meet him there. But he could have taken a quick trip to see about FGM's washer first, and stumbled across a little boy running down the road---and made a detour for awhile.

Exactly, which is why the shop owner may not remember every single customer...
Right, which is why it is not a foolproof alibi for BS at that time.

  • #383
That’s what I was getting at. Sorry if I confused you or anyone else. Yes it has to be BS receipt no doubt about it. Moo
Right, but his wife could have bought the coffees for them, while still waiting for him to arrive to meet her for the award show. That doesn't make it impossible for him to have driven past FGM's house first though.

I’m sure I read somewhere in a link stating the coffee etc was found on his credit card receipt ? Why would his wife use his and not her own credit card? Moo

Why haven't we heard of the results into the investigation into the metadata?
If they had evidence that the photo time was faked---I think LE would have told us by now. They seem to be publicly sharing every suspicious thing they can charge them with.

I am not sure it was his own credit card. I think they started a bank account and it was on his 'own' bank record, not necessarily his card.

My husband and I have separate bank cards for the same account, and the charges all show up on same statement. He found the charges on his bank statement, IIRC.

Hi Doc :) ,
Did Craddock ever mention why he chose not to call FGM to the stand at the inquest? (I suspect the subject never came up... ) But just curious, as FGM was one of the two adults present when William went missing .....

And if Police did consider her a POI at the end of last year, as the recent media articles have suggested .... it is a little late to ask her any questions now.....

Police reported that Tyrrell’s foster mum and late foster grandmother were being treated as persons of interest in the little boy’s disappearance in November.
imo
No he didn't.

I still wonder was GO & FA hanging out that morning? GO had phoned the FGM that morning. He was in Kendall.

FA has no alibi.........

  • #389
Yes but imo they would be less likely to notice because they’d be busy doing their own things. And oblivious to what’s happening around them while they are getting their day ready. Like getting kids ready for school, ready for work and all the hectic things people do when they first get up and moving for the day. Moo
So that would go for the cars the FFC saw as well i guess IMO

i wonder why williams fgm wasnt required to testify, i dont think there was any dementia mentioned, maybe it was just assumed, or was it suggested by ffc but now no longer available in msm?

William's foster grandmother, now 85, will not testify at the upcoming weeks of the coronial inquest.
In its initial week, deputy state coroner Harriet Grahame heard from William's foster parents and biological parents, as well as a number of neighbours and police involved in what was initially a search for a little boy lost.

William Tyrrell's foster grandmother reveals her suspicions

Maybe she was unwell. Maybe she was deemed a unreliable witness as they could prove her version of events that morning were not as it happened IMO ie when the MFC left etc. It was said many times thru the inquest ( by police as well ) that he left just before 9am.

Also he didn't sit & have breakfast with the rest , that was also said at the inquest, hence the FGM saying he was not there, he was preparing for his meeting, having had breakfast before the others from memory.

He was waiting for another part to arrive. Why would he go to Benaroon Dve that morning?

Here are two posts I made on the subject, although they are possibly not what you are recalling. (I did post some technical stuff about CCTV time differences).

Thanks very much for looking. Not the post I am thinking of. I had another good look last night after you made this post.
I suspect the post I was looking for is in pulled thread #66.

The media (and lawyers and spectators) didn't actually know the entire witness list.

"A handful of the 54 people on a draft witnesses list have been assigned pseudonyms and granted permission to give evidence before just the coroner, lawyers and court staff.

Peter O'Brien labelled the secret hearings "perplexing and unreasonable", adding he'd been prevented access to the court orders explaining who and why some witnesses would be heard behind closed doors."

I'm thinking those witnesses may have been police who were concerned that ongoing undercover operations not be revealed.

He was waiting for another part to arrive. Why would he go to Benaroon Dve that morning?

We had speculated in the past that perhaps the first part would get the washing machine going again. And the 2nd part could be added later, because it was needed but not essential. And FGM's washing was piling up.

Hard to know without knowing what the parts were and hearing from another washing machine repairman.

I wonder where BS did work that morning.

All we heard was that he had a 2pm appointment in Dunbogan.

We did think that one could possibly be a police officer's wife, who also ran a local shop. As we were not sure what shop the mystery man (who asked for directions to Batar Creek Road that morning) had visited.

I guess if she did actually see them. But did she? Or was that something she made up? Imo if there were cars parked like she said, how come the people without kids or retired and the people walking that day didn’t see them? The cars on the road released by le/media one year later has always baffled me. More questions in this case than honest answers imo. Moo

It wouldn't be so baffling if it was part of a covert police plan ... to secure search warrants for TJ & PB's cars.

This is quite a coincidence that Gary Jubelin and his men had information in 2018 re William at Batar Creek Rd.

Near the intersection of Batar Creek Road and Cedar Loggers Lane .... 4km away.
