Insufficient...suggests

They have evidence.

Along with supporting the most logical line of inquiry as to why William vanished.
There have been a lot of suspects over the years, in various crimes, where LE and/or the public 'knew' they were guilty. And then it turns out there were not.

If the police don't have enough evidence then that means it is not certain that they are the guilty party. Insufficient evidence means that it is not 100% certainty. JMO

Agreed, but then where is William?

Seems that the magistrate thinks FM probably didn't lie. FM apparently admitted to the other incident during the Crime Commission hearing.

Magistrate Miranda Moody said she could not "discount the possibility she was mistaken and did not deliberately lie" to the commission, because she made such prompt admissions of hitting and kicking the child in other instances during the hearing.

The woman responded "yes" to questions put to her during the hearing including "did you ever hit (the child)?" and "did you ever kick (the child)?".

"Have you ever hit her with a wooden spoon?" Detective Sergeant Andrew Lonergan asked her.

"Never," she responded.

The magistrate said she "might have taken a different view had she denied ever hitting or kicking (the child)".

Wow, so other than having children removed from her care, is their any penalty for kicking and hitting children? Or does she just get to walk merrily away.

Ok, I forgot about the common assault charges. So not just walking away

Agreed, but then where is William?
One of the original possibilities perhaps.

My mind usually goes to the many local pedophiles. Some of them were handymen who had contact with William's grandmother. The police seemed very suspicious of a few of them during the inquest.

There is also a slight possibility he did run off and get lost in the bush or grabbed by a predator.

There are still other POIs that some feel have not been ruled out yet.

I know that Jubes is really concerned that the recordings from PS' house - he calls them evidence - have been lost.
He wrote to the Director of Inquests about it. (Mentioned in his latest book.)

And there is still the chance that William got himself lost in a really obscure place.

I still feel that my first thought of misadventure is most likely.

That’s what l don’t understand? The incident happened in Jan 21. They obviously had what they needed to charge them with assault and have the child removed immediately. Instead she was left there until November because the police wanted to set up the foster parents with the crime commission. So how does the safety of the child come first? She said she was afraid to go home, yet they left her there so they could add another minor charge?
What kind of puzzle? A 'speculation' puzzle has been put together by some of the task force. They have a plausible theory.

But the problem is that there seems to be no evidence at this point, or at the initial investigation, that this theory is correct.
In light of all the charges against the ff and a certain child since being removed from their care, the child also being one of the last people to see W alive makes me wonder if the reason why LE are so certain in their claims that Ffc is responsible for W disappearance and that they know who how and where, that this child has provided them with information not previously given due to the circumstances still being in the fc care and under their influence and control. If anyone knows the truth about what happened to W that morning it’s Ws sister

"The longer this goes on, the less likely it seems that anyone will find him. That makes me sick. I think about William's sister who is the last person known to have seen him alive.
She was 5 back then, a foster child like he was, and remembers that the two of them were playing a game of tigers on the lawn beneath the house, out of sight of the adults."

That’s not true. Today’s “not guilty” judgement was a typical court ruling. Proving charges of lying to the CC beyond absolute reasonable doubt would be almost impossible. I anticipated todays outcome for this scenario and it in no way changes or alters my opinion on the Ffc being involved in Ws disappearance.and if anything the recordings played in court of the Ffc abuse towards this child and what she is capable of just highlights her true personality

Logically, that either means she was responsible, or that the death was accidental.

I think about her also saying that William went to see if daddy was home. And asked why she thought that, replied "I don't know".

There was something also said about her (them ?) seeing a car that looked like daddy's car.

Knowing that the above description is quite different to what has been maintained in MSM for years, that all 4 were on the back deck and WT jumped off and went around the side of the house and was never seen again, as stated in the FGM walk through and displayed in the 60 minutes interview in which GJ participated in that program, what do you make of that being in the book. It isn't even what the FFFC said about the events when giving evidence at the inquest.? Is that what Lindsay said in a statement and why has it not been reported on if so? At 1st it gives the impression that is the last time she saw WT but on repeatedly reading it, I see that it is just one of her memories of the morning and has been covered in other articles. I guess that is where Dan Box comes into lending creative license to the process to suggest something to the reader but not get caught actually lying. IMO

I have always thought that Lindsay was being protected, as a foster child. We initially heard - at the start of the case - in many articles that William disappeared while she and William were playing chasey/hide n seek in the garden. Then that changed.

Eg:
"William Tyrell, 3, was playing hide-and-seek with his big sister when he vanished from his grandmother’s home at Kendall ... "

Agree Chrissy, I was reading about Stratton SC last night … and figured this outcome was possible ….. The DPP could have at least supplied a top Barrister against Stratton, but they chose not to ….

Remembers that the two of them were playing a game of tigers on the lawn beneath the house, out of sight of the adults.

This is so annoying when the people who choose to discuss the events of the day - just don't do a timeline and sort out who was where and when.

example

9.03 - call to x - y made call l colouring g in toilet w playing with dice j on conference call etc
9.10 - go outside y supervising l ride bike w ride bike g washing dishes etc
9.20 -
9.37 - photos
9.40 - L and W beneath house on lawn out of sight of adults.
9.45 all back on the patio together

We all have had various attempts at it.

But if GJ writes a book and inserts an event/activity different to what has been the most consistent and often explained - of what took place they were all on the back patio. It just not helpful in going to clear this all up. I wish he put more effort in that timeline to really close up and shore up this question mark so that there is no confusion. MOO

I think that what Jubes says is in the police files.
He would have been privy to all of the statements that were taken early in the piece. And the early police actions (like forensically testing the FGM's car days after William disappeared). As would/should the current SFR and the Coroner.

Ffc words to a friend after the alleged assault on a child “I HAVE TO BREAK HER”.
to break someone: to destroy someone's resistance, morale or spirit AND to instil fear, anxiety, distress, stress.
Ffc choice of words and actions were intentional. Purposeful. That’s a sickness wanting to break a child who has already been through more than what any child should have to. That’s the Ffcs personality right there. The need to control and manipulate and break. Says it all really

Kidspothttps://www.kidspot.com.au › newsShe called her friend about the child and said, 'I need to break her'

What you are suggesting is not impossible to me and I have entertained it, but who was protecting Lindsay as a foster child. On the Sunday after WT went missing, both foster parents, FGM and Lindsay all gave statements to police. On the following Tuesday the FGM, and both foster parents performed video walk throughs. The FGM talks about being on the patio with Lindsay when he disappeared and in the MFC's walk through, he indicates that when he arrived back home, someone indicated to him that WT was just there before he disappeared, close to the back patio.... Were the media talking to neighbors initially who just passed along the gossip mill....

rue Slouth. I think it’s safe to say LE are not looking for any other POI in this case.
