I thought it was Foster Grandma Sutton that was rang regarding the part Sutton? Grandma didnt know they were coming, or did she have an inkling?
So if it was the foster mother she may have made mention to Spedding they would be there without Foster Grandma knowing. I do get confused because of foster grandma and non foster grandma and not thinking about the case all the time.
It is however Spedding became POI as they felt he may have called past regarding the matter. But there is no means of qualifying his where abouts.
His job surely allows him a lot of flexible movement and justification for being anywhere as does mr scrap metal, cruising the streets with an excuse to be anywhere in a small town without small town people being too suspicious of why they may be there. Having giant Speddos repairs on the side a van doesnt look out of place anywhere. It is a rolling justification.
In a small town though, people know whats going on just by word of mouth. Small town syndrome means word travels fast,
Did someone say there was WIFI at the cafe? I cant remember. Communications via wifi application are not monitored like phone records. Unscrupulous types know the work arounds. That bag of phones would mean untraceable communications from wifi at say a cafe, via a proxy communication. Facebook messenger stores communications, but others wipe every say minute
10:30 is after morning peak hour of school and work traffic, but before lunchtime traffic. It is the least busy time of the morning. The least period of experiencing passing traffic. The foster father had left out of harms way, to make a skype call. His lack of presence softened the chance of being physically caught.
People say they arent smart enough, but they learn the trade craft inside prison or off others they know with similar objectives. They know what they have to know. Not alluding to, but washing machine repairers no enough about electronics etc.
Kids are the communication specialists without a sim card. I cant keep up with the chat programs they use without a sim.
William was a child that 'did not' live in the area. Not recognisable as being in 'someones' car in a small town. No one would recognise him and take note.
True Crime Brewery covered William's disappearance, for anyone who listens to podcasts. One thing that I did not know/remember (I'm not active on this thread, but do read most posts here) is that William's FM called Bill Spedding the morning William was taken to ask about the washing machine part. Unless that is a research mistake by the podcast.
