I was doing a bit of reading myself this morning old msn articles and this popped up.
I also thought this name just might pop up again during Spedding's trial if they are still using that defence.
This from the Canberra times 1 September 1990.
Hillsley had repessed feelings of hostility toward his parents and seemed to have been "a very disturbed child with dominating parents." His mother had infantalised him interfering in his life even after he had married and had a child.
Hillsley's marriage and other adult relationships ended in failure.

I was surprised to learn he had been married and had a child.
The other article is discussing him having had deep sleep therapy since childhood.
He was diagnosed as schizophrenia as a teen but that diagnoses changed - social personality disorder 1983 and psychopath 1984.
Those years again.
Good find soso, the marriage and child are new info to me. JH did receive the notorious deep sleep therapy at Chelmsford Hospital under the direction of Dr Harry Bailey.
