Yeah, the ‘unluckiest washing machine repairman in the world’. *sarcasm font selected* I feel for him. Trooly.

Actually, I take this back. Human compassion isn’t conditional. I have compassion for his damaged inner child if, indeed, he is guilty of abducting William and putting him in situation where he may have been or is still being neglected and/or abused.

I DO NOT however condone adults who perpetrate, or aid in, the exact same (or greater) neglect and/or abuse of other children, no matter what level of neglect and/or abuse a person may have experienced in their own childhood, under any circumstances. If they themselves were neglected and/or abused as children, they must be able to at least imagine how the same neglect and/or abuse would impact another child. No matter the reasoning or level of compulsion/desire, no child deserves to be treated like this. Past, present or future.

so did police/msm show a photo of the spiderman toy found in speddings van?
i didnt know they had, this ones quite distinctive as its fabric and more for a younger child

Also, there is nothing to say that William did not have several spiderman toys. A plush one, a non-plush one, whatever else.

Our children have often had several dolls. Daughters and Barbies comes to mind.

That’s true. Just clarifying bb’s post wrt Spider-Man doll on FGM’s balcony.

Thank you both x So not the same Spider-Man toy that was subsequently discovered in BS’ van then.

Actually, taking a second look at the balcony photo, the Spider-Man doll looks to be made of a hard material with white areas near/on the hands and feet. In comparison, the Spider-Man doll FD is holding seems to be made of a soft material with no white areas near/on the hands (feet not visible). Opinions?

Did they go to the cafe  and school  together? I think I remember reading that he went to his office 'for a while' before those events.

All of which was in question as no one seemed to remember seeing them. This has never been clarified either way. And didn't rate a mention in the famous video (sorry Bo, had to mention it again)

i wonder if william was carrying a small toy when he went missing, little boys love to carry their super heroes and little cars everywhere,
i hope police checked thoroughly all the benaroon drive shrubbery for a dropped toy, if there was someone there watching him

Maybe we could also do an alleged events/alibi stocktake?

Not that FM or police have mentioned. Or MSM have reported, for that matter.

Especially favourite toys. I hope so too but I think they went over that ground with a fine-toothed comb.

It could be a different spider-man doll they are holding

To me, they do look different from one another but the balcony image is of quite poor quality. Et tu?

Yes i agree. i enlarged it before i saw your comment then thought i was mistaken, but you saw similar to myself

Not that it matters that the toys look different. From above:

I think I’m just fascinated by how things you think look the same on your ‘first look’, are not on your second *logs off to make a cuppa and give mind a rest*

Is there white around the chest/stomach area of the toy on the patio floor?
Maybe it is a ray of sunlight, but I think the morning sun would be on the other side of the house, as the sun rises in the east. :dunno:
Or maybe it is a shine coming off the toy from sun. Which means it wouldn't be a plush toy, like the other one.
Looks quite white though, to me.

And no white on the one held in this picture?

Well, no one remembered seeing him, from memory. Hence, he wanted people to go through their pictures and see if they had one with him in it. And the school principal would not comment on whether he was there or not. Funny that, he could have cleared him in just a few words .. put all the adverse publicity to rest. And perhaps stopped all of Spedding's property from being ripped apart, and some confiscated for forensic testing.

After all, the cafe worker made her public comments ... "I recognise him but haven't seen him in a while".

Margaret may have been there, and probably was. I think he just tacked onto her activities that morning, even though he did not participate in them (imo).

Somehow convinced her that she needed to say he was with her, because he was elsewhere - not on Benaroon Drive  - and couldn't prove it.

When I look at the whole pic, it doesn't seem as though that white on the spiderman doll could be a ray of sunlight. The rays I see ... one is more muted, the other covers more area ... well, they both cover more floor area.

No matter. I think we went down the rabbit hole there. All it really says is that William owned more than one Spider-Man toy. Whether that was two, or three, or more, where they were kept and whether the toy found in BS’ van belonged to William, can’t be determined from MSM reports anyway. I’m sorry if I derailed the thread from the topic at hand. As you were :D

I guess we won't know ... but the police will know. According to what DNA was found on the spiderman toy in Spedding's vehicle.

I’m sure they will. So does this mean that the ‘Spider-Man toy evidence’ can be considered as ‘inconclusive’ (or whatever term L’s use) by us?

In many MSM articles the Spider-Man is described as a figurine. Maybe that’s why I always imagined Spedding’s toy was a smaller version.
Do Spider-Man toys come in different sizes say something that could hang off a rear-vision mirror?
