Perhaps they're being told to keep quiet as he could be (IMO) being moved on by someone/s, and they've found a trail and don't want that jeopardised - hoping so anyway

I'm hoping very much that is simply the case. I was always of the hope that little William was with family members somewhere, either here in Australia or overseas. That hope is now fading I'm afraid and it saddens me to the core. If some low life has hurt that gorgeous little boy, they'll will wish they'd never been born. Too many of our children have suffered at the hands of sick arseholes and Australia has had enough! I'm not in favour of capital punishment but when it comes to crimes against children, I say hang the bastards!

Seven7 news said the tipoff came from Crimestoppers.

I'm pleased that something seems to be happening here, however I have an awful feeling about this in the pit of my stomach. The fact he's been missing so long with no sightings just makes me feel like he's been picked up by a paedophile and who knows what has happened.

I am having lots of trouble posting on my phone. Could someone be really kind and please post the links on the front pages of news.com.au and ninemsn.com.au . There is a lot of information.

The tip off came fromcrimestoppers.
The place in Laurieton was a pawn shop.
A house in Bonny Hills was searched.
Both places owned by an elderly couple who were questioned and released without charge. Perhaps they were the landlords?

I feel sick reading between the lines. While it's encouraging that there is major progress, what seems to be little Williams fate is just heartbreaking. I hope with every fibre in my being we are way off.

Excavation crews arrive at property raided in search for missing toddler William Tyrell

Read more at http://www.9news.com.au/national/20...tigation-into-disappearance-of-William-Tyrell

Two properties in Kendall were raided by police investigating the mysterious disappearance of the toddler, who has been missing for four months, the properties are understood to be owned by an elderly couple. They are believed to have been questioned by police and released without charge.

i wonder what the link is between this elderly couple who own both properties and the tenants?

An excavator has arrived at a house on the NSW mid north coast and police are emptying a septic tank as they continue to seize forensic evidence in relation to the disappearance of toddler William Tyrell.

Homicide detectives have spent more than 24 hours searching through the house at Bonny Hills, just south of Port Macquarie.

While I don't necessarily think there is a *right* for people in the general public to *know* stuff, it would have saved a whole lot of pointless speculation had everyone known from the start that they were frequent visitors to Kendall. That info was totally game-changing.

Could just be the landlords, but it makes me wonder about that poster who used to post back in the earliest days of the #1 thread complaining about the police harassing an "elderly lady" about searching her home IIRC? Anyone remember that?

yes, i remember, wasnt she an older lady whose house was locked up because she was in a home and people upset that searchers had broken in to search her empty house?

if I recall correctly, she was upset people went into her house without permission ((overzealous volunteer searchers?)) while she ''wasn't there"?

It is relatively close. I have gone to the area for beach holidays for over 30 years and I've stayed at all of the places they're talking about except Kendall. It is further inland from the beach. It is a short coastal drive between Bonny hills and Laurieton.
