apart from the searches in laurieton and bonny hills, was there also a property searched in kendall?

This makes me feel sick :(

I just want answers for his family but now that they are draining a septic tank, I'm scared and think I would rather not know...

:gaah:

Laurieton local Kerry Buttsworth owns a butchery across the road and said he saw one of the raids unfold.

"We saw them taking a lot of gear out of the place. There was computers," he said.

"I believe there was a mattress taken out, and there was quite a few bags of stuff taken out. [It was] put in a police car and taken away."

The ABC also understands a nearby caravan was inspected in light of reports that an infant was heard crying around the time William disappeared.

The ABC has been told a man and a woman from Victoria had hired the caravan, and their details have been passed on to detectives.

Since the couple have custody of grandchildren, maybe there is a link to William that is familial. I mean, this really would be the best case scenario that I've hoped for all along. The extensive testing/searching could be for other evidence rather than recovery of William. Imagine sometime today we hear he is alive and well. That would be such joyous news.

It would be except for the evacuation equipment, and I really think if William was still alive that police would have him by now. These leads must be good for all this equipment to be brought in though?

I hear you.....if I put a positive spin on it I would like to think that his original clothes were put in septic system, thereby avoiding detection in landfill etc.

I am confused. Are these properties connected in any way by family or ownership? Or are they different people, different unconnected searches?

I mean, is the home where they are searching the septic tanks, connected in any way to the offices where they took the mattress and computers away?

I think the flat above the liquor store is an investment property owned by the homeowners, and the room they searched was a sort of storage room used by the owners .. is that right?

So basically this older couples home, and the parts of the investment property they had access to.

Someone has really pointed the finger at them by the looks, and for whatever reason police are taking it very seriously.

I wonder if triangulated phone pings also played a part.

An elderly couple live at the property and are believed to own a business at the nearby town Laurieton that was raided on Tuesday.

would police spend money searching the septic tank and excavate if they were just ruling out and covering all scenarios? does this mean they have enough evidence to be searching for a body?
or is it possible william could still he alive and hidden away alive and moved to another area?

Excuse me for being daft but what is a septic tank?

  • #376
An elderly couple? That seems so odd. I was expecting middle aged men to come under scrutiny. Very creepy. ugh

waste disposal/collection on your property to collect waste water when you live in an area where no municipal sewers exist

Thanks. So it's an underground thing? I'm imagining something similar to where petrol stations store petrol. So how do people access them?

yes very similar - most often with a concrete tank, buried in the ground with tubes that run into the ground over a wide area but there are ''cleanout'' access areas and the old ones used to have an actual ''lid''
