I hope that GJ does know and gets whoever is responsible for what happened to WT. Whether BS is responsible is what we don't know?

No we don't know, but Websleuths allows us to have opinions.

Judy Wilson says - “I don’t think it was an opportunistic grab from someone who just happened to be here *because we don’t get strangers wandering around.”

But then here LE are describing 4 cars that they were looking at.

FOUR!
One of the cars was described as a dark grey, older model sedan, while the other was an old white station wagon. Inspector Jubelin said the cars were parked unusually close together, between driveways, with their windows down in the days leading up to the boy's disappearance.

"There was also another vehicle described as a dark green [or] greyish coloured sedan. This vehicle drove past 48 Benaroon Drive as William was riding his bike on the driveway around 9am on the morning he disappeared," he said.

"In addition, we have received reports of a four-wheel-drive vehicle driving out of Benaroon Drive around the time William vanished.

Shortly after 10.30am, three-year-old William vanished.

At 10.35am on September 12, a number of people could have been expected to be there to stop William being taken.

“I didn’t hear anything, so if the person who took him came down Benaroon Dr, they did it without panicking or driving fast or taking off like an idiot, because I would’ve heard.”

(I think the times were a few minutes earlier than that, but) I don't remember seeing the Wilsons' names explicitly associated with the 10:30-ish departure. I do remember the earlier time, 9am or thereabouts, connected to Mrs Wilson. I suppose it's possible she went out twice.

There is a podcast that states that Mrs Wilson left to run errands about 90 mins before William went missing.

Yes some very welcome rain, and now it's like a sauna when the sun comes out, lol.

The podcast also states this about the lady across the road from grandma ...

Mother Anne-Maree Sharpley, who lives across the road from William’s grandmother’s house, was sitting *inside reading a book before deciding to go outside her house to “get some sun”.
“I didn’t hear anything, so if the person who took him came down Benaroon Dr, they did it without panicking or driving fast or taking off like an idiot, because I would’ve heard.”

But by the time she did go outside, William had already been taken.
“I’d taken the kids to school and came home and cleaned up and sat down in the quiet with no TV and was just reading my book,” Ms Sharpley said. “No cars, no cries, no nothing, it was just quiet...

Yes, I think the panic and resistance started later. Perhaps when the vehicle was 30km away. :(

O.K..I find the whole BS thing a bit of police beat up too. Cloaks n daggers. But i'm sure he must be relevant in some way?

I'm wondering if it's more the fact that Police theorise BS is privy to info vital in cracking the case, but because of maybe a shonky deal or the fear of someone he refuses to speak up? Did he meet with another poi, provide help to them,(maybe $$ from the pawn shop?) only to realise he was now in deep doodah because they were involved and he was complicit?
Could he have received some ill gotten goods for pawn at he time of WT disappearance? Could he have been visiting a mistress and can't use her as an alibi? Is he covering for a loved one?
Just thinking outside the square.

I know Police are interested in him for some reason..but is it THE reason everyone suspects?
Could he simply be a link in the chain that cops need to figure it all out, so are therefore hammerin' him til he talk?
All MOO...just puttin it out there.

No you don't. You can actually access LE sites etc. on FB without signing in and being a participant.

Nup, I don't face space, my book or any of the other SM sites and I looked up that awful page everyone was talking bout and saw Everything! Pics of FF, family of the Speddings comments..the whole shabang. Im certainly not a member of FB.

Interesting that more details about the 4WD weren't released, not even colour. As if they know whose vehicle it was.

It is a pointless debate Lou Lou. It all started because a poster accused members of hatred and wanting Spedding to be put 'under a jail' without any charges or arrest. Something I have never seen or heard from other members here.

It would be good if this debate could cease.

Just doing some more reading about a podcast. I think this is a lovely idea for the parents that feel that they miss out on their child's life, when a child(ren) have been removed from their care.

It states that foster mum took three photos of William that morning. That, as foster carers, they must keep a Life Story Book - the book “bridges the gap” between foster carers and parents when the child returns home, especially when parents feel they have missed out while their child has been in care.

I read that and thought is was just a beautiful thing to do.
I was though a little confused as I thought I also read somewhere that it was always going to be permanent.

In regards to speeding I'm a bit confused over the last few pages isn't he a pedo either way ? Isn't he in court at the moment on charges ?
I only pop in and out so may have missed something. As a POI (whatever level of the ladder) and in court for abuse allegations regardless of who he has my utter hatred

I don't find it a beat up at all.

A tradesperson whose son said he was supposed to go to grandmas that morning to fix her washing machine.

A tradesperson who later said he decided not to go and instead attended a coffee shop where the manager did not recall seeing him, and a school assembly where he needed to ask people to look at photos to see if he was in any of them.

A tradesperson who later had grandchildren removed by FACS from his home, due to investigation into his treatment of chldren.

A tradesperson who is now in a NSW court for historical child sex charges.

A tradesperson who will be attending a Victorian court after the NSW court case is over, for historical child sex charges involving various counts of indecent assault and sexual intercourse with children between 1983 and 1985.

Not such a stretch or beat up imo. And it will certainly keep Spedding as a prime POI here on WS.

So far Spedding has been charged with an allegation made by another person/s.
Definition of allegation
: a positive assertion especially of misconduct

Some former colleagues have made serious allegations against him.

; specifically : a statement by a party to a legal action of what the party undertakes to prove
3 : an assertion unsupported and by implication regarded as unsupportable
