The time judy wilson left her house. 10.36 am or 10.38 am according to Richard. Or misreporting? I know i read it. Of course another report said 9 am. Just another niggle .

Judy Wilson said - “we don’t get strangers wandering around.”

But then - Iona Bligh who doesn’t live in the area goes for a jog around Benaroon Drive because of the Hill.

Again, no ill will against Mrs Wilson but there were ‘strangers’ around.
Iona Bligh often jogs down that same stretch of bitumen and past the nondescript brick home owned by little William’s grandparents.

I guess as Iona lives/d in nearby Kew, she may have been considered a local, and if seen often jogging that route may have not been considered a stranger?

In Daniels disappearance Cowan had a shaky Alibi but at the time there was not ENOUGH forensic evidence to charge him. That all came though, took way to long but it came.

The smallest detail can be the biggest asset.

IIRC LE OVERLOOKED Cowan’s alibi about the mulcher. It was later discovered that Cowan did not see the friend because the friend later said he would’ve remembered.
So where was Cowan during that time? He was murdering Daniel.

Mr Cowan left about 1pm, saying he was going to collect a mulcher from his friend Frank Davis at Nambour, she said.

Sounds a bit like Brett Cowan. He had moved down the POI priority list, too. And now look where he is.

How many times do we see the glaring obvious and LE seem to walk away from the POI. As frustrating as it is to us, LE is working behind the scenes and whamo, left field theres an arrest.

They only need one seemingly small insignificant piece of info.
Beit a mulcher, a phone ping or a fragment of DNA.

How long did it take LE to arrest Borce? Again glaringly obvious to us peasants but that’s just not enough evidence to convict.

Then you likely need to be very careful of what you are wrongly accusing others of.

I refuse to be baited.

I can see why. Holiday girl. :D

I don't usually respond to spoken nonsense any more, but insults to and untruths about our members are a whole other thing. I chose to comment rather than report, in this instance.

We had beautiful weather today, anyone else?

Weather? I was curled up in the fetal position with a Valium milkshake.

More podcast info ....

Fairfax Media understands a three-day search of bushland in early March 2015 was instigated after a witness reported seeing a vehicle drive down a fire trail (turning off Mitchell Houston drive) about the time William disappeared. The search zone was 21 kilometres from where the toddler disappeared.

I would think that police have a description of the vehicle.

I am sorry that I haven't provided the link. I don't know if I can, as it links through a private person's FB, but gives all the MSM links that we require here. It is a fabulous timeline.

If you google the above Fairfax Media quote, you can find the link. Of course, the people who do not use FB won't be able to find it. Sorrrrryyyyyyyyyyyy.

Accusing another poster of being a liar is against TOS, and backhanded personal insults are too. Attack the post and not the poster.

William needs a broader look.i discount nothing and no one near him that morning.vehicles can be exchanged driven in and out of a street easily if they belong in a street.noone notices.but who the driver is well we dont know.if some one asked for a lift for instance then the worst happened.then the other is too scared to speak out.

Just jumping off my own post to say ... this ^^^^^^ would explain the search (that Spedding's van was seen driving by). Houston Mitchell Drive is a road that can be used by Spedding to go to and from his place in Bonny Hills.

I wonder what the description of the vehicle that was seen is. And if it is a description that matches a main POI's vehicle.

I agree and i think GJ stated himself the investigation remains open minded about William's disappearance, words to that effect anyway. And i'm sure they would have to be if they don't really know what happened to WT.
It's so sad he hasn't been located yet.

Go for it, Whangarei. Please don't sit back and wait for others to look more broadly. Most of us have been here for 3+ years and have looked at every angle we can think of. Which is where many of us have drawn our current conclusions from.

I would not want anyone to think that we have jumped on any initial bandwagon and have never got off to have a good look at every other scenario we can think of. For those who choose to read back through the threads, all the angles we have looked at are evident.
