Yes, I definitely got the impression that Hillsley harmed the older girl, at some point in time prior to the revocation of his parole.
The younger girl had documented, extensive bruising when she was examined. Recent bruising. And Hillsley was in prison.
I think the date on the girl's medical report will likely prove that.

hmm yes, and the difference between what the grandmother and mother observed to what the medical staff observed when they wrote their report will be interesting, apparently enough for a supreme court judge to assess that there is a question of who in this instance and evidence of coaching under a "hot house" of suspicion. All this evidence will have to be tested at trial.

There is a photo if man sitting on back edge of a police can and I believe that is f f and he appears be holding a mobile phone as if he is either speaking hands free or reading or preparing a text. Would he be doing that if there was no reception in benaroon?

Has it been said there was no mobile reception in Benaroon ? Or just unreliable/woeful internet reception.

The impression that I am getting from the articles that I am re-reading is that Spedding was living with his brother in law (Hillsley), Hillsley had his parole revoked and was sent back to jail, Spedding is left living in a caravan there, and the two girls are violently raped while sleeping in that caravan with him.
I get the impression Spedding was still living at the same premises, because his lawyer is trying to blame Hillsley for the crimes .. even though he was in prison at the time. Plus the victims who lived with Hillsley, were now with Spedding.

Coupled with the fact that Margaret Spedding tried to influence one of the victims (had her mobile number) and Spedding tried to get one of them to write him a character reference (still knew where to reach her), makes me think that Spedding is perhaps related to them.

I think so too.
Wishing those two girls all the very best today. I hope they get the result they are after.
Some ghosts may be finally laid to rest. I hope so for their sakes.
I believe this case is intrinsically linked. Maybe some answers soon.

If the mobile reception was okay could he have not skyped using his mobile. Would he be doing that if there was woeful reception problems.

Maybe the man was just looking at photo's. To say he was speaking or preparing a text is a huge assumption.

Assumptions create rumors.

This article that bearbear posted, on this page, explains very well about the black spots and unreliable mobile reception in that area, at the time that William went missing. You will notice that Bonny Hills is mentioned in the article, and Kendall is mentioned there, too. But not Lakewood, and not Laurieton.

The article was published one month after William went missing.

I am a little scared about that. We know he has 5 children, and I think we were able to identify that some of them (4?) apparently support him ... though I think that is with regard to William's disappearance.
I don't believe they have extended that public support to the historical charges?

The above is a link to when both Bickford and Jones were already named in the media as POI's. The following week on 60 minutes is the reveal of the 2 cars seen that morning by the FM. It was not revealed for a year for strategic reasons. during the 000 call the FM does not recall the cars and I have not seen in any other articles, neighbors or anyone else notice the cars. Then voila, one of the cars fitting the description which was believed to be destroyed turns up and is taken away for examination and is cleared. The other car is similar to a POI's sons car and it has been scrapped apparently. I get the impression that statements were taken from the POI's and then the scenario was built around the 2 men to see if any information came in from the public. What they don't seem to be looking at publicly is that the car was Jones' wifes, that she shared access to it with her neighbor, that she is friends with Kim Loweke and KL lives with her brother Johnny, and Kim Loweke has befriended Natalie collins about the time this all went down. This woman was also not adverse to at one stage, having her husband Tony Jones bury her pet dog in her parents cemetery plot. But when I listen to what the FM says about the cars in radio interviews, I find her believable, like cars were never parked on that street or between properties. from sleuthing google earth it appears to be true and her explanation about when and why she remembered them later stacks up to me as well. MOO
