yes i remember that, i think i searched his name and he was in a wheelchair but not sure, ill try and find the article

Yes bear I remember that photo & he (someone) was in a wheelchair.

Now my problem is Mr Wilson said his wife left.
Mrs Wilson said she wasn’t home & nor was her husband.

If Mr Wilson was frail and in a wheelchair how did he leave the house on his own and when?

No ill will against the Wilsons as I’m just sleuthing.

A couple of possibilities that I see.

1. Maybe he wasn't home that morning to begin with. Stayed elsewhere overnight. In the hospital with an ailment? Something else? Was he (?) in a wheelchair because he had a fall, and would recover to walk around again later?

2. Maybe he had already been picked up/taken elsewhere that morning. To a daughter's place/son's place/whatever. Was he too frail/injured at that point to be left alone while Judy went shopping and running errands?

One thing is for sure, if he was frail and in a wheelchair, he likely wasn't rolling around curbside, or anywhere else, on that downward sloping road/property to abduct William. The grandma's house would be uphill for him.

The man in a wheelchair on his back deck may have only commented on SM, it wasn't in MSM as far as I'm aware (correct me if I'm wrong please).
He was not Mr Wilson, his name is Robert Douglas and may not have even been in Benaroon Drive but a nearby street.

Thanks, Josie! Very useful info.

Good chance that Mr Wilson was still employed then, and left much earlier. Maybe not retired yet.

May account for his wife not revealing his whereabouts to MSM, other than he was not there. Don't need everyone's place of employment advertised to all the journos, so they can rock up there and ask for comment.

He likely knew his wife had left at around 9am because she told him, or called him from the supermarket to ask about something she thought about buying (as my daughter constantly does to her husband while he is working lol).

i dont think mr wilson was in a wheelchair i think i read it as being another neighbour who could see the lights of the searchers and he left his back light on in case william was lost? i cant seem to find a lot of the old msm articles with the neighbours talking?

The neighbours who were away at the time. Empty house.

All the references are way, way back in the threads. Probably near the beginning.

Researching 52 Benaroon shows there has been no sales nor leases.

Interestingly the driveway shows wear on the grass on the left hand side.

Could the occupants turn regularly out right towards the bush or they take a wide turning in and out to the left down Benaroon.

Does this make sense that you’d drive on the grass when there is a concrete driveway.

(Or is it a garden that’s been removed).

From what I can tell he was in a wheelchair as a result of surgery. He has quite young children.

I could post his comment but I don't think I'm aloud as it is from SM?

No. Not allowed to. We can just take it for whatever we will, according to TOS. :)

And we cannot discuss it any further.

Skinny driveway. Could be that they frequently drive off it as they are turning in and out. Can certainly see tyre tracks in the dirt.

Mind you, looks like they would be running up and over the curb if they are using that as part of the driveway. Curb appears higher than the driveway, on that side.

Now that's interesting, bb.
looking back at old msm articles i notice a lot seem to have been rewritten and male neighbours names and quotes changed or omitted?

yes, not all but a lot of old msm articles, especially ps and rw names are now changed to neighbour etc,
maybe its to protect their names from forever being connected to the case?

Or maybe they might be called as witnesses when Jubes makes an arrest and goes to court?

Thanks SA, it's a shame that they were away as they have a birdseye veiw of the back of no. 48. Not that it would help to see what happened around the other side of the house.
