Just jumping off your post, tgy.

According to the report on The Project last night, they had spent yesterday clearing the land where the toy and other items were found. We have no idea what the other items are. Maybe they are important/indicative/worth clearing the land and sending dogs in, getting soil samples, forensically testing it all.

Yeah and finding BC’s discarded joint butts. I won’t say

I was delighted to see a police dog run in without a leash. Let Fido do what he does best. Give the dog his head and not to lead by a human.
Hey! I’m a freebie (ETA not a freebie :D :D a GREENIE - damn autocorrect!) and a treehugger :D But some things are just more important. Like finding out what happened to a little boy who has been abducted and to bring the perp to justice.

Oh yes a green frisbee.

(There’s that dang auto correct again). :)

Perhaps he wanted to keep things normal and went back so as not to draw attention to himself if he cancelled. It would also give him the chance to get insider details of how the investigation into William’s disappearance was going.

Maybe - but seriously who would just lob up and park among all those search vehicles.
Seems he called on that day and was told you can't come. We will get back to you.
What does one do? Ignore the call or head out to Kendall and face the music?

The one thing that stays with me. Is the fact that BS came back to fix the washer in the days after William disappeared. Why? I am guessing that was on invite.
NC says that the police knocked on BC and KT door at 4:30 pm and arrested them. Why? If the search was for a little boy lost.
The parents are cleared. But it does indicate if NC is being honest that the police were considering other reasons for William vanishing promptly.

To see BS roll up with cop cars sitting there waiting and for him to have to walk inside.
Heart thumping, stammering and dribbling.

I know I saw that pic of the peddo van among the cop cars.

Remember Col told us BS walked down the side of the house to quote the repair.
Why so much detail Col?
Which side?

Yeah, I also remember the quote from BS when seeing William's house on the news. "I think I've been there."

In the reconstruction of the biological mum's tv interview she indicated she was alone with her 3rd child when police came and she was not arrested. Other people are saying the Bio dad was incarcerated at the time, so which is it.?

I wonder what Col thought after the historical charges were laid ... two sets of them in two different states, involving multiple children? He sure went quiet after the grandchildren were removed, and the historical charges were laid.

I wonder if Col would like a million big ones? He seems like a helpful kinda guy.

I guess it depends who you choose to believe, if either of them.

At 4.30pm police knocked on Karlie and Brendan’s door.
“They arrested the pair of them. We were all suspects,” Natalie said.
Stunning new revelations about the day William Tyrrell vanished

And she is furious that William's parents Karlie Tyrell and Brendan Collins were treated like criminals - when they have been devastated since hearing he had disappeared.
'Police knocked on their door, handcuffed them and treated them like criminals.
'They were so confused and had no idea what was going on.
'They have been treated so poorly this whole time - everyone forgets it is their son that is gone.'
EXCLUSIVE: 'They WON'T find him': William Tyrell's grandmother slams the police investigation into the missing boy - claiming the new forensic search is 'all for show' ahead of what would have been his seventh birthday

Yeah - NC certainly is confusing.
Brendan said they came to see him at Granville.
Karlie was home alone with one child when police visited her.
BS was having coffee and at the school presentation with Marg. Pics to come - he hopes.
Where was NC?

I've done that with my own house when I've seen it on tele,"Oh that looks familiar, Oh it's my place!"

Col was also the one that told us BS's alibi, and the holes in it - not the Police as someone else here mentioned.

I thought that was relayed by his son, not a direct comment from BS.

Just a relo
According to a relative, the first time Mr Spedding had mentioned the baffling case was when he saw William’s grandmother’s home on television news reports and said “hey, I think I’ve been there”

Mr Spedding, a 63-year-old electrician, had been due at the house of William’s grandmother in Kendall, 350km north of Sydney, to repair a washing machine the day the boy went missing.

Council could be involved because of the environmental factors or possibly if there are any heritage items in the area too? As I understand it the area has a logging history. I think there are a number of significant heritage items.

The police are wasting good taxpayers’ money and their time, they’re never going to find William — I just know in my heart he’s dead,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

His grandmother is adamant William was taken from them, a thought shared by the boy’s father.

“I know exactly what’s happened, someone’s taken him and done something to him. Brendan (William’s father) says it, too, he believes William’s gone,” she said."

William Tyrrell's grandmother says police are 'wasting their time' on new search (via Yahoo 7 news)

Just to clarify, NC, William is/was your precious grandson. Not a missing cat. If deceased, the general preference is for human beings to be laid to rest in a dignified manner, yeah? Don't worry about my tax dollars, I'm ok with this.
