There is also another tracker, Pete Moss, who was involved in the initial search. Maybe he saw the camp in the forest?

Tracker Pete Moss said he went missing from this area as a five-year-old in 1963 and managed to wander three kilometres until he was found five hours later. He joined the search a week ago and has noticed the mood sink further each day as crews return with nothing.

Just looking for the bush tracker info .... came across this. We have seen it before, but I just wanted to get this info onto our thread again.

Bush trackers have found clues such as a knife sheath and a set of small footprints but police have investigated all tip-offs from bush searches and still don't have a solid lead.
Missing William Tyrell, 3, 'picked up by a car' police now believe | Daily Mail Online

I know I came across an MSM article recently about Jake finding a bush camp recently but do you think I can find it now? No, of course not!*sighs*

I also see old posts of ours referencing Jake Cassar's FB page - for his official Jake Cassar Bushcraft line. I just don't have the stamina or time to go way back on it right now to see all the things he had to say about his search for William.

Found it!

Not giving up hope

‘"We got deep into a rainforest and we found a campsite out there where someone has been camping and leaving some supplies.

"So we're going to go and suss around that area and see who's doing that," [Jake] said.’

His last name is Casser, not Cassar!

'Nothing more frusting for the bios in those first 2-3 years that being gagged by the courts due to William's foster situation'.

As for the Foster family.
Hey K-Mac,

I don't like pointing fingers in any direction, rather just like to raise questions based on what's been made public, being objective.

I don't think the bio GM should be talked down on social media and in forums like this; people saying she's a fool etc. Okay not everything might make logical sense, but she shouldn't dissed on. We all say silly things from time to time. She's had alot to deal with in terms of her son and then the William situation.

Nothing more frusting for the bios in those first 2-3 years that being gagged by the courts due to William's foster situation.

Same Bo.
I just read an article a week ago. Pic of Jake with his beautiful dog and in his signature hat.
Said he had come across a bushcamp deep in the rainforest and there were supplies.
I will keep looking.
So until I find it I guess this is my opinion as to what I recall reading.

Thanks Bo - I thought I was going nuts.

What does she know? Or suspect? How could she make things worse? And for whom?
Yes it does sound as though NC had a lot going on with her boys.
Maybe BC was in no condition to appeal, anyways.

Ms Tyrrell said she didn't speak out around the time William went missing because she "thought it was best".

"They know what they're doing. Like, I didn't wanna go on news being, like, angry or anything, making anything worse."

William Tyrrell's mother says foster parents 'should feel guilty'

Oh K-Mac I wasn't directing that at you re: talking down of the bio GM...
I was just making a generalisation that there seems people are dissing the bio GM that's all.
Well if you go back and read all of her media interviews, you'll see why she is attracting so much discussion. IMO

Me too! My bad — I think it was my misspelling of his surname that started this whole kerfuffle in the first place

Good find!

Jake himself spells his surname Cassar (at least on his FB pages he does). Perhaps the article mispelled it, I think.

In August 2017, a Supreme Court judge ruled the matter was of “legitimate public interest” and allowed the details of his care to be reported. So followed the gradual surfacing of William’s biological family in media reports and tell-all TV interviews.

William’s foster parents have spoken sparingly to the media, and have done so in co-operation with investigators. They have vowed never to give up searching for him.
“Hearts across Australia have been broken, but we have and will continue to maintain unwavering faith in NSW Police and carry hope in our hearts that William will be found.

Just wondering, when Brendan abducted William as per his own confession (trying to find the link but no luck yet), I wonder how and where he did it? Also, Surely if William had been abducted once before, that would explain FM immediate response that he'd been taken. IMO

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

Through heavy sobs, he went on: “I tried to run away with William when he was nine months, we were happy, just me and him for seven weeks, until DOCs took him into care.

Yes it is confusing. I can't work out if there was an attempt to hide William before Docs took him and then another.
Or they are all speaking of the same event and their recollection varies.

I wonder whether Brendan actually isn't clear how old William was at the time. If it was for seven weeks, nearly two months, then apparently William was either nine to ten months or eight to nine months. Perhaps Brendan is a month out, and William was really seven to eight months, and this happened immediately before William first went to foster parents.

And then you have the FACS v APS NSW Supreme Court of Appeal document stating [William] was removed at 7 months of age. Who do we believe?
