Well here's an example of a Star Wars toy an adult might keep in their pockets.

It all depends on the spin the media want to place on this, via Chinese whispers.

For example, the recent DailyMail article was full-on scare mongering. Not sure it helps what the police are trying to achieve.

Yes that is an example of a toy someone might carry in their pocket. Some may even hang them of their hat.

Sounds like someone’s talking finally
Yes that's what I thought too, HB. About time! I wonder whether it was finally their guilty conscience or fear.

Me too.

I actually contacted Crime Stoppers with some info about 18months ago, in relation to an associate of a POI and a caravan. Imagine my shock when I got a call a few months later from NSW Police.

Explaining how you came to know this info and do not personally know any of these people , nor even live in the same state, without coming off as a stalker is not easy.
Good on you for taking the initiative. Very well done.

Well, this headline is grim... I guess we'll know more shortly when Jubelin addresses the media:

Shift in Tyrrell search

Police ditch original search after new location could lead to where William Tyrrell was last alive

BREAKING: The search for three-year-old William Tyrrell has taken a twist with police now searching a new area four kilometres from where he was last seen.
Oh no! Our worst fears.

Oh no! Our worst fears.
I don't think anyone really thinks that that poor little boy will found alive. If I were his family, never being found would be the my worst fear.

No presser live ( prob due to poor/ no reception ) ??

  • #1,268
Press conference 1pm ? Is that what’s as reported , I can’t find anything. Perhaps it’s been delayed

If he was my child or grandchild I would NEVER give up hope.

That is what was reported, but nothing to be found........

This must just be torture for Williams family, both foster & biological.

I think Mark Leveson sums it up, they certainly have been in this situation ( post was from when the search started )

Mark Leveson‏ @MarkLeveson Jun 13

Please spare a thought for William Tyrrell’s foster and biological parents today. This will tougher on them than anybody can imagine. Best of luck @nswpolice in your efforts.

Thanks tootsie. On tenterhooks here.
Me too, I'm just holding my breath, feeling sick with not knowing.
I can't imagine how the family must be feeling.

The deputy coroner is expected to visit the site shortly.

Says shortly, but also says in the coming days

Police Confirm New Search Area For Willi... - (news/crime) | ten daily

The search is expected to last two days. Police want to speak to anyone who has seen anything unusual in the vicinity of Cedar Loggers Lane and Batar Creek Road recently, or around the time William disappeared in September.

To those on here that are so focused on BS innocence , would love to hear your reasons why?

It's not a matter of his innocence. Plainly he has questions to answer, and is rightfully being investigated.

For WT, it's clear BS's path has come very close. And we all know the police turned every stone visible to them.

But given there is no result of that investigation ... and given the police have clearly de-emphasized the media's frenzied focus on a "ring"... where does that leave us?

He is the most visible of many, many suspects.

He's not off any hook.

But the relentless focus on BS might of obfuscated people's memories and visibility on this case....... some OTHER party may of walked passed all the pointing fingers into obscurity.

Strike Force Rosann makes a move on new Tyrrell information

“Today we commenced a search as a part of our ongoing investigation into the disappearance of William Tyrrell in bushland near the intersection of Batar Creek Road and Cedars Loggers Lane,” he said.

“This location is approximately four kilometres away from William’s disappearance and where we’ve been conducting a forensic search for the past two and a half weeks.

“The reason why we are searching this very specific area of bushland is a result of information we’ve uncovered in the course of the investigation.

“We are looking for any information, any exhibits relating to William’s disappearance.”

Det Chief Insp Jubelin went as far as saying they are interested in any information relating to a person or vehicle seen in the area in 2014 or more recently, and acting suspiciously, to contact the Strike Force via CrimeStoppers.
