A line of inquiry into a ‘high risk’ person of interest led to the new search location in the vicinity of Batar Creek Road and Cedar Loggers Lane, Batar Creek on Wednesday, June 27.

Det Ch Insp Jubelin Gary Jubelin said while there was no evidence of William being in the location, there is a person who knows why investigators searched this area.

“They will no doubt be feeling pressure from the intensity of the investigation,” he said.

“I believe people close to this person might notice a change in their behaviour.

And your point was that MS had said it was gifted to BS from the child of a client.
^^ My partially bad memory, yes. - If MS/BS had a 4 year-old grandson in their care, then it's only the mode of expression by the journalist perhaps.

Because MS description of the child is not in quotes, I just assume, she said one of the grankids gave it to him, and the journo might have asked how old the grandchild was... however I see your point, might be important or not. The awkward wording attributed to the journalist might have been that the child was one of MS grandkids who had been removed from her kinship care and there may have been concerns about how to describe him so as not to identify him as per FACS policy, maybe. And your point was that MS had said it was gifted to BS from the child of a client.

Police detectives later questioned Mr Spedding's wife, Margaret, as to why her husband had the Spiderman figurine.
Last night, she reportedly claim her husband used the figurine "to keep him company" when he travelled around performing jobs in the Port Macquarie area.
She said one of the children the couple had cared for had got it when he was four.
"The child left it in the van for (Mr Spedding) to keep him company when he was driving," the Daily Telegraph reported Mrs Spedding saying.

BBM
Is it possible that the question was raised because BS said he had made those phone calls yet they were not in his phone log when LE checked? Is it possible that the actual issue is not that he deleted phone logs but that he never actually made the calls he said he did...or perhaps he had a bagful of other mobile phones to use as Crabstick was wont to say. Just a thought.
Yeah, it's this phonecall in the morning that holds the key to it all. It might hang him or completely clear him and point in the opposite direction. IMO

So, MS has a verrry good memory (other than mine).
Btw: Afaik, SHE is the close relative to the children they had cared for, but doesn't say "grandson". HE is only the husband of the close relative MS, but he says "grandson". Oops ...

As he has an office, perhaps he also has a private off-street car space.

If he was calling/trying to call foster family from the office about fixing the washing machine that morning, he must have had an appropriate vehicle with him. I would like to know whether that means the van or he deemed an ordinary car adequate.

I wonder if there were any cameras at nearby businesses that could potentially have picked up his car. I do wonder as well if it was the van.

The more I read this msm article the more creepy it gets.
It’s as if this is exactly what he did that morning. Really weird!

'Today, somebody is keeping a secret. They got up this morning. Had breakfast. Realised they need to pick up some more milk.
'Wasted time on Facebook. Made some calls. All the while maintaining a poker face. All the while pretending not to know. But somebody knows what happened to three-year-old William Tyrell.

William Spedding claims he had nothing to do with William Tyrell disappearance | Daily Mail Online

My understanding of this, and I am sure it was discussed in previous threads, this was not written by BS but, rather, was a 'shared' post put out by Mamamia on FB or similar. I had family members 'share' the same thing.

Three weeks after police announced a "forensic" search for the little boy who was last seen playing in his Spiderman suit in his grandmother's Kendall front yard, Ms Grahame has joined investigators in the small town as they hunt for any clue to what happened.

"I want to stress we have numerous lines of inquiry including persons of interest that we are going to fully exhaust before the matter goes to a coroner," he said at the start of the search in June.
"Until we know conclusively that William is not alive, we'll treat it with the possibility that he still is alive."

One of those lines of inquiry prompted a search in a small patch of bushland - a few kilometres from the main area - which was connected to a high-risk person of interest in the case.

Investigators said they gained clues from the second site but no clear evidence of William.

The coroner declined to comment while the police investigation was still active.

Two quite significant statements from your link, soso:

‘It's understood no clear sign of William has been found so far and, if nothing is discovered in the final week of searching, investigators will be able to confidently conclude the boy was abducted.

Ms Grahame's presence at the search is understood to be a result of the high-profile nature of the Tyrrell case, not because it has been referred to the coroner for an inquest.’

Yes I noticed they've gone back to the FRONT YARD and also found in one of the other articles where they said they examined the yard and seemed to of made a point to add in inspected rhe DRIVEWAY.

But when GJ took over and did a walk thru with journo's he said to the side of the house.

So where exactly do they presume he was taken??

UPDATE: STRIKE FORCE SET UP AS SNIFFER DOGS FAIL TO PICK UP SCENT OF WILLIAM TYRELL - NBN News
The 3-year-old boy was last seen playing with his sister in his grandmother’s Kendall frontyard on Friday morning.
Superintendent Paul Fehon says neither police sniffer dogs nor cadaver dogs have been able to pick up any sign of the boy, fuelling fears he may not have wandered away from home.

How could toddler William Tyrrell simply vanish into thin air?

Arriving at the house on Benaroon Drive, Partridge is thinking, “Something just doesn’t feel right about this whole thing.”

Does that mean he was never at Kendall?
The visit was meant to “surprise” the grandmother.

Who do you mean by “he” William ? Because if you do it has been verified a million times. The photo ect proves that as does his scent from the dogs.

IIRC ol’ m8 Col said he had the receipt from the coffee shop. They used a card.
I know there’s the link somewhere.

I recall to TGY, however a 'card' receipt does not the 'Card passing payer' reveal. That's where we need cameras or witnesses imho...

Both families have been cleared, I think we should remember that some members are new and not privy to how things work around here, and I find it interesting that many newer members keep asking the same questions about the case as they discover new details for themselves. IMO
