I don't doubt the children are loved by their biological family.
From what we have learned of NC in MSM she didn't see WT very much in his life. I guess not considering he was removed when just a few months old. But doesn't mean she doesn't love him. He is her grandson after all.
Yes we all know that. That doesn’t answer the question though,

As per the caselaw, the court hearing to contest the adoption was scheduled to be heard on 6th Dec 2016 over four days.
I can't state any facts here, but my belief is that it is done and dusted.

Also, we did not hear about any little girl being with Karlie when she was arrested at the mall on 22 Dec 2017, only two boys. Nor did we see a little girl in tow when photos were taken of Karlie outside the court with her sons.
I would speculate that William's sister is where she has been for years now, and perhaps the adoption has gone through.

Apparently, Karlie had not been able to change her life at that point, having been arrested again in 2017, and then being arrested with a plastic bag at her home shortly thereafter.

I hope that things go much better for her in the future. I really do.

I don't believe this convo has any bearing on William's disappearance, other than William was removed from his bio parents as a baby, and the following circumstances put him in Kendall on that fateful day.

imo

BBM, Do you have a link to that please?

I don't doubt they loved their children either, but did they love them enough to change their lifestyle to keep them?

Really can't say at this point in time, because BC was supposed to go into therapy for his problems last i read.
And as far as KT is concerned she was also getting some professional help with her problems.
And i'm sure William's disappearance had only exacerbated their problems with re grief they have endured not knowing what has happened to their little boy.

So 4+ years after their children were taken they were getting help? Is that what your suggesting?

ETA: Oh and could you please provide a link to what your saying. TIA

Yes, I do have the link to that. It is the full caselaw. But the mods asked us not to post it any more, so I can't.

This is the relevant part ... "The carers have recently applied to the Children’s Court for sole parental responsibility for Sarah. In response, the mother has stated that she seeks restoration of Sarah to her care. The father, who is now separated from the mother, is not actively engaged. The proceedings were to be heard from 6 December 2016 over four days"

If we took out William being a foster child with rather colourful biological parents I believe the outcome would still be the same . Wrong place wrong rime , innocent met evil, unfortunately it was poor little William . I think it could have been anyone’s poor child that day . As someone posted threads ago KISS.
I disagree and using the same KISS principle, the hindrance of other priorities in this case would not have factored into the police "harnessing the power of the media" in different directions to get vital information. IMO

Surely an adoption for WT didn't go thru...he is still missing.

Thanks. The proceedings were for restoration of the child to the mother's care. It doesn't mention it was a hearing for adoption for the FP's to adopt the child.

Interpet it however you want. It says it is the response to the adoption application (which is called Sole Parental Responsibility).

IMO - I think all this discussion of parents is irrelevant, it has been discussed over and over.

All parents, biological and foster, have been cleared by the investigators.

We all have opinions on how each have behaved, it can't be changed, so we just have to get over it. No shuddawuddacudda.

I agree. And it all came up because I thought that the FP name is suppressed in the media to protect the little girl.

Were they offered the exact same help/services as FF straight after WT going missing?

When the magistrate added, "A term of imprisonment is warranted," Collins stood up and replied, "Right then, thanks your honour," and bowed deeply from his waist and disappeared back into Silverwater prison.

Natalie Collins told news.com.au that her son had been promised, on his eventual release, rehabilitation help from campaigners involved in raising awareness to find her grandson William.

"He needs counselling. He has stuffed up, but try being in the shoes on Brendan's feet," she said. "He has been suffering. I think police should arrest all drug offenders and sellers.

I believe he has had ongoing drug issues from years prior. It was one of the reasons the children were removed from their parents care. Brendan has been incacerated for his problems. The drug & DV issues.

Yes, the drug and DV issues.

Did he seek help prior to 2018? Did KT leave him prior to Williams disappearance?

According to her Sunday night interview - No.

My initial comment was about them loving their children enough to change their lifestyle. It didn't happen.

Can we please put this to bed, I don't particularly like what they have done to lose their children, but I don't think we need to keep rehashing their problems.
