Unless there is a silver car somewhere in the mix we haven't heard about?
Or the car that was said by the witness that he saw AJ driving around in was someone else's? Or the burned out trashed car belonged to someone else entirely and not to either of the perps.?

It was a police facts sheet, lodged to the court about Spedding and Margaret trying to regain access to the grandchildren. It would have been lodged in mid-April 2015.
We have since discovered that their (his) access has been denied, though I cannot recall at the moment where we saw that info. It was fairly recently that we saw it, within the last few weeks, I believe.

Katrina says in last’s nights interview when asked if tony Jones had a habit of burning out cars. When I looked at the footage from the original interview with Katrina months back it looks like she is in the same clothes etc. so I believe she was asked about the burnt out car months ago and now aca are only showing her response to the question which makes me come to the conclusion that this is not a new line of investigation.

I may be wrong, but I dont think she was asked about a burnt car last night, just about his car(s).
I think it was the same footage last night as the footage from quite a while ago - it had just been inserted into last night's report.

From memory the reporter asked her along the lines of if AJ was known to burn vehicles out in the bush.

Dribs and drabs ... the police allow things to be published in dribs and drabs over time. It keeps the pressure up. We have seen it in other cases.

Yes that’s right,and in that report was Katrina, and in last nights report when the journalist asks her about tony Jones having a habit of burning out cars she is in the same clothes same environment etc. That’s why I believe the journalist at the time of the first interview had knowledge of the burnt out car. I think it’s something they have known of for some time and have maybe only recently had the go ahead to report on.

Unless she wore the same clothes and was in the same environment then i think it’s safe to say that this car incident was known months ago, possibly reason for the latest search and kept qiuet for the anniversary of his disappearance for reasons unknown. IMO

the sketches of the cars on benaroo depict two cars with 4 doors each.....one a sedan and one a wagon.
the burnt out one has two doors and is a hatch back or wagon

the burnt out car was discovered a year after William went missing and a current affair spoke to the person who discovered it in the bush....it is this anonomous persons opinion that it 'looked like' a car tony jones drove and when he brought it to police attention (no mention of the time lapse between visits ?) it had been flipped over and burnt out.

nothing solid in any of this information unfortunately .
