Yes, I made a thread for him here in the UIDs. Cold, cold case. Just thinking, with no published name could be one of our First People?
That would be established by DNA. I don't think he was skeletal was he? Decomposing.

ETA: Just thinking about the findings being handed down on Friday. With no published name could be one of our First People?

Isn't it only photo's of their deceased that aren't permitted? I think names are fine.

Not sure about names. I remember Ms Daley was first given the alias ‘Norma’ for her inquest. I can’t think of why someone wouldn’t at least have an alias or initials assigned to them unless they were an UID (which in this case they can’t be—it doesn’t make sense). Curious.

So could be one of our First People then? I wonder if we’ll find out come next week or if the findings will be redacted.
I don't know. It's strange, there are a lot of suppressed names on that page, but replaced by initials. I can't think of any other reason for the unusual way of describing the deceased.

It is unusual to have a missing, presumed deceased person’s name suppressed to the point where it doesn’t appear in any form. As you say, it’s strange. Well, I suppose there’s a first time for everything.

Well you know even then there could be evidence, for example shell natter? Etc?

I don’t think it’s William’s inquest as it was slated to be held in the New Year. I doubt it was brought forward and his name and the location he disappeared from was redacted but, with all of the sensationalism being generated in some quarters of the community for their own ends, I would understand why the Coroner could feel it necessary to keep it under wraps.
