Interesting that so many people who were presumably in Laurieton the day William went missing, are being called.
I cant imagine all these people are being called to prove BS was at assembly, one would have been enough..... on the other hand, the more the better if they are trying to prove he was not there.

A bit of a witness list also:

Paedophile to testify at William Tyrrell inquest

The list of 42 witnesses for the inquest that resumes on August 5 also includes locals from around Kendall, where William disappeared in 2014, and Laurieton, where part of the search took place.

They include assorted members of the community, such as former washing machine repairman Bill Spedding, his wife Margaret, Laurieton Public School official Valda Ballesty, hairdresser Angela Eschler and other people who took part in the search.

A neighbour of William’s foster grandmother, Paul Savage, and NSW Mid North Coast locals Patrick Teeling and Laurieton milk vendor and former journalist, Gordon Wiegold, will also be called.

Another local man, Geoff Owen, had installed the decking at the Benaroon Drive house where William was playing before he vanished.

Three police officers and Elizabeth Rowley, the wife of Laurieton police officer Senior Constable Christopher Rowley, are listed.

Husband and wife Daniela and Martin Parish, who owned Laurieton’s Cafe Buzz, will be called.

Two mystery women, listened only by the pseudonyms of “Amy” and “Tanya” appear on the list.

It has been reported that among the 19 men on the list who are not police officers is the name of a male person of interest who has not previously been identified or mentioned in public.
I hadn't seen this confirmed before:

"Coroner Harriet Grahame told William’s biological parents and his foster carers at the March hearing the inquest may recall them for further questioning during the second tranche."

Good thing bf did as Detective Laidlaw suggested and put in an application for legal aid.

Maybe the 2 women are related somehow and that is why their names are suppressed.

We couldn't agree on the time of the assembly; we may be out as to its size as well. At my school, assemblies involved hundreds of kids, no parents as far as know, but I could easily have missed them if there were.
One person might have missed them but if they were there someone must be able to vouch for them ,he was a business man in the area, ran a pawn shop, fixed white goods,my guess is that his face was pretty well known around the area.
I know this is old ground but these questions still linger, hopefully the inquest will clear some of this up.

Yes this question is still a biggie for me. So much hinges on it.

Exactly,if he was there someone would have spoke up by now in his defence and Im not talking about Margaret or Col.

And if it’s proven he wasn’t there, why the lie .......

What if one says she saw him and five say he definitely wasn't there . . . and all the others say they don't remember seeing him but can't be sure?

Looking at the ABN for the hair salon, I don't know if I'm reading this right, but it seems it changed locations within the same postcode on 17 September 2014? I wonder if that's a coincidence that means anything. Perhaps she was doing moving stuff in the street on the day William disappeared and so has a good idea what was going on in that part of Laurieton.

But as far as we know no one has said they saw him there...

It would not surprise me if they produce a map(and probably photos) showing exactly where every person at the assembly was standing / sitting, and then hopefully call MS straight after this.

I find it quite disconcerting that Spedding chose to upload his youtube video in 2015 on the 1st anniversary of his socalled 1st visit to the FGM residence.

I also find it extremely disconcerting that there was an attempted abduction of a male child in Lake Cathie on 5 March 2015. I am told Spedding had a connection to Lake Cathie at one point in time very close to the attempt location.
mmm interesting

Smart thinking kiwi.
That would be terrific, and ask, "Where were you?", as she doesn't know where others had reported
ie Joe Blow stated he sat in the third row, and didn't see BS.
Then Margaret states, "I sat in the third row"!!!!!
MOO.
