Maybe not if William is never found, but maybe for other Foster kids. But please, bottom line enough about foster care!

I am certain the Coroner will examine every aspect surrounding William's life to formulate if necessary suggestions for improvements in processes and child protection procedures in a similar case of a missing child in OOHC.

From my perspective Overington is setting a valid comparison as to how differently society classes are treated and exposed.

Great, good she’s doing that but it’s not helping in finding William. Just highlighting something else that is not going to help William being found

I never heard it, like the other things, which weren't spoken about for nearly 5 years. Why didn't we read of the many details a long time ago already? I don't understand this case.

I think we'll be very shocked with what CO will expose in her podcasts and what new information we will be told that has never been said before...No more secrets I say...time for the truth so this little boy hopefully can be found and returned to his families

Completely understand. The blame needs to be refocused on whoever took William. But unfortunately people seem to look for scapegoats . IMO.

We need to refocus on who took William. Please!

Too many unnecessary secrets. What the reveal after such a long period of less than factual stories missing pertinent information makes many suspect motive of continuing with these same rote stories at the direction of FACS.

Yes, I expect lots of new details from The Australian podcast. As they have already shown.

I think the format of the 10 podcast will be a good fit once the inquest begins (with two journalists talking, similar to The Guardian's podcast on Pell's case). But I don't know what The Australian is planning to do during the coverage of the inquest. Or even if either of the podcasts will publish during the inquests. Time will tell.

I can see no apportioning of blame or inference against bio parents or their family or ffamily or scapegoating as inferred. New and fresh information being released currently, deserves to be discussed in the light of day.

I wonder if any witnesses will be added to the inquest with little, or no notice?

The witness list obtained by news.com.au is described as “provisional” and “witnesses may be added with little or no notice”.

I am having real difficulty listening to the Lia Harris podcasts. The FFC tends to take over, speaking on everyone’s behalf. Today’s podcast is the best I’ve heard to date. The FFC actually allowed her husband to speak. She comes across as being very emotional. She would do better by allowing her husband to speak more.
