The world of homicide and missing person investigations does not stop because an officer is removed. Fresh eyes often uncover missed clues.
I completely agree.

But the FF seem to believe it has - that the police are no longer investigating and just focusing on the inquest (from 10's podcast).

But, I agree with you, I don't believe the investigation has stopped. Fresh eyes always welcomed.

So you knew that the visit was arranged a wk earlier and it was MFC that had done that. Did you already know about William spending the night in hospital over a black eye?

And that Fcarers had initiated adoption process 14 days before William disappeared.

Caroline Overington will be more likely include factual information whereas Ten's podcast narrators go off on a personal mostly non factual chat tangent. A lot of what is included in Ten's podcast has been snipped from other previous documentary interviews which contain information that is out of date....from my perspective.
I hope this one doesn’t lead to another court case. IYKWIM.

I guess it depends what the reader/ listener wants to believe. Personal bias can sometimes cloud one’s objectivity. IMO.

Maybe I did. As I said nothing new to me personally

No one has discussed someone's assets here have they...or have I missed something? Please explain what FFS stands for it has confused me.
Yes you have missed something. It seemed very important to CO.

I also think talking about the FF - suburb, new car and calling them 'The Fosters' is unnecessary.

I am happy though, that in the podcast we get to hear from some of the BF.

I think it has also revealed new information about the case.

The Australian podcast - for better or worse, seems to be trying to tell a bigger-picture story that goes beyond William. Including the foster system in Australia, I don't mind this.

I think both of the podcasts have flaws. But they are complementary, together they tell a more complete story.

In the Ten podcast FFC talks of their brand new 2014 vehicle.

Did he spend the night in hospital because of the black eye? I know it was said in the month before he disappeared he had a black eye and spent a night in hospital. I was wondering if maybe the overnight stay was for something else, asthma maybe. Or maybe it is two events far apart that have been joined together.
imo

That PS got lost? That's new right?

That the Sydney detectives clashed with local police.

It actually doesn't say he spent the night in hospital - it says "he ended up in hospital".

ETA - He was in hospital overnight prior to being placed with the FC'ers.

I really think and hope that she is setting the scene for what comes next. I think that the point of this podcast is a critique about the foster Care system in general and she is using Williams case as an example about the problems within the system.

I think it more of a critique of what the false impression the public were given about the fcarers as we now know them were put out in the media as what the public considered were William's biological parents.

When there was a real grieving family of his real birth parents who were denied participation.

Giving a grieving father and grandmother an avenue to say something and be heard and to take the grandmother to the scene for the 1st time showed genuine empathy and compassion.

Not a critique of the fostering system but of policy from my perception.

"Personal bias can sometimes cloud one’s objectivity" - yes, it certainly can.

For a night. It was said immediately after raising the bruise episode. It is clear William spent a night in hospital due to the bruising incident we are told was caused accidentally via information from inquest. Thread 39 or 40.

Yes perhaps we need the links for clarification, soso. It’s very easy to jump to conclusions. IMO.

You might need to listen again, I just did to check. It says 'he ended up in hospital' nothing more.

Well there you go. Thank sleeps. So he could have been taken to the hospital as a precaution.
