Does anyone remember around the time of the most recent searches, there was something about someone trying to divert or distract the searches in another direction. I cannot find the information. Also that someone had been digging around looking for something and we thought it may have been BD but could all of that have been PS acting suspicious IMOO

Yes, I wonder if PS stimulated this new search area? Was this area his usual stomping ground during his daily walks, or perhaps he has been sighted here?

I think now it appears he is the complainant re: GJ, which occured in Dec last year, he may have been the focus of these searches, which occurred just 6 mos before hand.

Guess we will all find out in a few weeks.....?

It says that the man has been vetted by strike force Rosann and found to have no involvement in the case. It says that he has since left the Kendall area.

Hi dragon52, I gathered that the 'man who lived alone & kept odd hours' has left Kendall & has been vetted & cleared.

SOMEONE ELSE is expected to be the main focus when inquest resumes...

Who that person is, and how anyone would know there is focus on One is anyone's guess . IMO . I'd be more inclined to think they'll check them all off, one by one.

It's all odd but I've bolded the bits that I'm finding extra odd this morning about the wooden box guy.

“Police also searched the home of one neighbour, who cannot be named, three times in a period of less than 24 hours.

"We saw a wooden box had been fabricated ... over what we thought would be a window," Senior Constable Rowley's statement reads.

"I saw his television on ... Sky News active with the scrolling story of the missing child William Tyrrell on the screen (it did not move and obviously had been selected)," it continued.

"I asked if I could see his hands and they were spotlessly clean ... I asked if he would mind removing his shirt and he did so and there was nothing on his body worth noting."

IMO, it's because this particular referenced statement was made by policeman Rowley.
I don't believe it the Police who have 'outed' BS or PS

Also, did you think that the podcast seemed to imply that the FFC drove around looking for William before the MFC arrived home? Could just be the way they have worded it and I've got the wrong impression. That's what I thought might be the mistake - that she went for a drive before MFC arrived home. Did she?

I always thought she went for this drive before MFC arrived home. Not sure why.. I think I thought she did that as part of all the searching with neighbours & knocking on doors etc, that I believe FFC did on initially realising William was missing...

I don't have links to support - just my thoughts ...

Yes, totally normal to drive in the car, agreed.

And from memory, there was nothing mentioned in 10’s podcast when they talked through everything that happened that terrible morning before MFC arrived home and just afterwards about driving. Or did I miss it?

I think you're right (unless I missed it too): based on the notes I jotted down back then, there was no mention of the drive during episode 3, "One Last Roar", Where's William Tyrrell on acast, 08 July 2019.

It doesn’t really seem strange to me. The initial search for William by his FP (and others) and the video walkthroughs formed part of the brief of evidence. I would not expect police to release every minutiae of that evidence before the inquest unless, of course, it was necessary to further their investigation. In this case, as the FP have been cleared, it seems it wasn’t.

I wonder if any details of Gary Jubelin's court case starting today will be made public. I'm thinking probably not with the impending inquest. In fact I would not be surprised if it was deferred until the inquest has commenced.

Delayed until the 7th due to Bio's now having Legal, and some will be heard in Taree.
