Wouldn't it be just amazing if he is still alive!!!???
It would be. If by some slim chance William is alive, I’d hope it was because someone took him for their own and are looking after him. Hopefully he wouldn’t have suffered too much over the loss of his loved ones and, if he’s ever found, I hope he doesn’t suffer too much confusion and psychological distress.

Anything is Possible

Podcast 'key details':

Police believe William was abducted, and most likely by a stranger who took him from the scene in a car.
They have no idea where William is, have no forensic evidence, and no key suspects. This can be a strategy to force an inquest and compel people to answer questions.

Jubes has been charged with recording convos with a person of interest in this case. (UBM)

Breach of NPO protecting families, Coroner reiterated NPO.
People breaking the law by posting FP identities on FB. If it continues people will be prosecuted. (UBM)

Are cars seen on street linked? Counsel assisting Coroner did not say.

Believe William well could be in the 3% of children who are abducted by strangers.
Abductor can appear very normal, and people will be surprised that this person lives among them.

Police are confronted with a case (this case) at the very top level of difficulty.
William may very well have been murdered.
Police are adamant that they can still solve this case.

Further evidence may be found shedding new light on a person or persons.

Persons of interest may have been labelled to see how they respond to the label.

Witnesses include: Spedding, his wife, Jones, Savage, former Kendall resident who is now in jail, unnamed other residents, and Det Chief Inspector Laidlaw.

At this stage, Jubes has not been called.

Pseudonyms are for protection of those witnesses that have requested it, could be they fear for their safety due to controversy or potential incrimination. One additional person asked for a pseudonym this week, decision on that has not yet been made.

A high percentage of remains in cases like this are frequently found near the abduction site, and near roads.
But conclusion is that William was taken far away from the abduction site.

BM left inquest ... understandable, such a difficult thing to sit through evidence such as this.

Taree location is to allow testimony from many locals who still live in the area.

FP have not lost hope that inquest will still bring leads. Plead for people to still come forward if they think they know something. It might be the key that unlocks things.

I was wondering if it could be Derek Nichols.
With his track record, it wouldn't surprise me if he was in jail again ... particularly after they searched his house. Who knows what child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 they could have potentially found.

“I was living in Kendall and the police came to see me because I was on the child protection register,” he said in January.
“The most significant one was in May when they came and inspected my house.”

I've been wondering for a while if Nocturnal Man was in gaol.

That's good to hear. People need to feel unafraid of giving testimony at the inquest.
My smaller mind thought it was good because we'll be able to talk about them without getting mixed up.

He bothers me or perhaps I should say puzzles me.

Kudos to FM for offering to pay for BDs accommodation in Taree.

Snipped & BBM--"still", so meaning Kendall area rather than Taree specifically?

That is the impression that I got. The Kendall general area.

Yes, I would think that Nocturnal Man would need to appear ... perhaps under a pseudonym, if he is as nervous as has been opined. Especially with having been FGM's first thought when asked if she could think of anyone who might have been involved.

I don't think we are going to see everyone we think should be there. For instance if the Nocturnal guy was cleared by Police I doubt the Coroner would have any interest in him taking the stand.

Would’ve thought News Ltd or W4W would’ve organised something for him. The former has made enough money from him. And the latter, well best left unsaid.

Mr Craddock said that " people in custody" would be called to give evidence..........

And, on further thought, those people may not even be involved in this case. They may be people who have been in jail at the same time as someone who is involved in the case, and who may have been told something that is relevant to the inquest.

And some of them might be among the group that requires anonymity for their own protection. As well as some of their testimonies taken with a grain of salt, or not, as the case may be.

Some of police evidence will also be in closed court to protect police methodology, as Mr Craddock implied yesterday.........no good telling everyone your secrets;)
