I know this is a dim question after all these threads but my mind has gone a little blank. Was TJ driving ex wife’s white possibly commodore stationwagon that day when he claimed he was out searching scrap metal ? Remember Katrina claimed he cam home drunk.

I’d like to know what age bracket these men fall into.

To infiltrate the

To infiltrate the supposed paedophile ring that exists in Kendall.....
I don’t think you needed to be quite so rude about my comment ...
I was thinking about the Daniel Morcomb case when I wrote the comment...
Sorry, my manners weren't the best there.

I don't think the paedophile ring was ever supposed to be in Kendall specifically, and the responsibility for William's disappearance lying with such a ring in the general area has since been "all but discounted". But it might depend on what is meant by a "ring".

I'd like to know McInally's alibi. Just an off-chance. If he was at the doctor's there will be a Medicare record, not sure how much time detail will remain though.

I couldn’t figure out whether he was still maintaining that medical appointment existed in court today or wether it was what he told police at the time .

Also was inquest running for two or three weeks ? If it’s two and tomorrow is a closed court as dr sleuth informed us it only leaves one day ???

  • #868
Mr Palmer testified that Mr McInally told him that " It wasn't Bill Speeding ( driving the white Commodore ) , someone around that kind of circle"

This is interesting. What circle ? Friendship or something more dark.
Yes, it was an interesting turn of speech.

He's had time to check on MyHealthRecord, unless it was a naturopath or some other non-Medicare service.

It was said at the inquest today by Mr McInally that he didn't think the police could confirm that he had been at the Dr's @ Laurieton & that was why he didn't mention it at first to the police.

CRADDOCK : You gave 2 versions to the police ( about his where abouts on 14/9/14)

MM : Yes

CRADDOCK: 1st you were at home, 2nd you were at the Dr's. You didn't tell the police about the Dr's.

MM : yep, that's right

CRADDOCK : Why didn't you tell the police?

MM: didn't think they could get my records as it had shut down. But they did.

Unfortunately no times were mentioned that I can re-call if what time he had his Dr's appointment :(

A very strange explanation. Like, I didn't think you could check that, so naturally I lied.

So perhaps he said he saw the car in Batar Creek Road from home at, say, about 10:30, and then they pointed out that he wasn't at home at that time because he had a doctor's appointment, so he had to change the story. But the locations are so close. (There are two McInally listings in Kendall in the White Pages, both near the town end of Batar Creek Road, not far from Comboyne Street.)

DrSleuth, did MM continue to maintain that he saw the car in Batar Creek Road from Comboyne Street, or did he accept that the car was also near the post office? Also, what general impression did you have of him? I think it was said he lived with his parents--I would be guessing for financial reasons, but did he seem like someone who would have other difficulties living alone?

I think the website does a backup at this time of our day ... middle of the night for the US.

It is pretty constant for me especially in the morning and lunch time. I find it fine from a PC but from the laptop or phone painful :)

Asked by the coroner why he would tell a story in 2018 about how he saw someone in 2014 trying to get phone reception, McInally said: “I don’t know.”

“I was in a drunken state,” he said.
“I don’t remember half of the conversation.”

William Tyrrell inquest: court hears conflicting evidence about car driving 'crazily'

Despite poor Mr Craddock & the coroner trying to get out of MM about why he recalled in 2018, that in 2014 a very common car that he saw for a fleeting second & he says that he saw a person holding up a mobile phone , assumingly trying to get reception, but never saw a mobile phone......it was all quite ridiculous really.....:rolleyes:

The coroner said " How would I remember someone I saw 4yrs ago trying to get reception- why would I remember that? "

Think we all felt their frustration

A bit more on the driver of the crazily-driving car ....... somebody who Spedding knows? A relative?

"It was sort of driving crazily and that ... it wasn't Bill Spedding but it was like he was saying someone that might have been around that circle," said Mr Palmer, adding that he "got the feeling" that Mr McInally knew the person who was driving the white Holden Commodore.

Mr McInally didn't tell Mr Palmer who was behind the wheel, he said.

"Mick might know dodgy people, that's all," Mr Palmer said.

"Mick physically said to me it wasn't Spedding but the whole idea that Mick was saying to me ... it was someone trying to set up Spedding. Maybe Spedding's son or stepson, trying to set Spedding up. That was the thing Mick was getting across to me," Mr Palmer said.

On his version of events, Mr Palmer did not ask Mr McInally who was driving the car.
