This inquest seems like a circus at the moment and I hope for William's sake something of real significance comes out of it all

That's how I read the tweets as well
Me too. Why didn't they ask him the questions now?
The inquest, so far, has seemed to be a bit of a waste of time. Lots of wasted downtime in my opinion.

Doesn't that mean he refused to answer questions in the police interview they were watching on video?
That's how I read it, anyway. Not that he refused to answer questions at the inquest.

I thought it was both, but in a re-read it seems it was just the police interview.

Why didn't Ms Grahame ask him the same questions that the police had and compel him to answer? Apologies for the rant; am just frustrated with such:mad: a lack of progress in this.

IMO the significance of what has been said is hard to determine. We don't know what has happened in closed court, what has happened in suppressed testimony, or what counsel assisting the Coroner is driving at with his apparently ordered witness line up.
I feel that there must be some significance to the order in which the witnesses are appearing. As if this is building to something.

Good! I hope it is allowed. I bet Jubes is chomping at the bit to have an opportunity at the inquest.
Unfortunately he'll have to stick to what he is asked, and not necessarily what he'd like to divulge.

I can’t understand the NPO directed to media but court open to the public.

Totally agree with you...it's just very frustrating atm

Once he is on the stand, I think other lawyers will be able to question him also.
This could include the FP's barrister.
I don't think that Peter O'Brien would be given exclusive questioning rights. That would be unfair.

Yeah I'm confused too, going via earlier tweet you can tell who's evidence was suppressed today. They mentioned his name but can't say what he has to offer the inquest

That would be great if they do. IMO.

I believe if he is involved and what he say's at the inquest can't be later used in a criminal court...so maybe they are playing safe with him so charges stick in a criminal court

Feeling quesy..... How many Pedo's joined the search

If you mean Donohoe, he is a sex offender of adult men ... not children.

I believe so. I went back and re-read it and it refers to not answering detectives (so assume the video not the inquest). He does appear according to some tweets to have answered questions asked of him at the inquest before this point. I am not sure why they have not continued questioning him though. Surely there was more to ask?

Do we know if he was asked any questions today, or more to the point did he answer any,was that what was suppressed earlier today?
He seems street smart to me.

Conflicting stories have emerged over a sighting of a driver behaving suspiciously on the morning William Tyrrell disappeared. The inquest was told one local saw a driver struggling to push something down the passenger seat near where the toddler went missing.
