I believe so. I went back and re-read it and it refers to not answering detectives (so assume the video not the inquest). He does appear according to some tweets to have answered questions asked of him at the inquest before this point. I am not sure why they have not continued questioning him though. Surely there was more to ask?

Judging by the timing of the tweets, I would say that he was on the stand for 22 minutes ... including the video of him being questioned by detectives while in prison greens. The video seems to be only 3 mins long - again judging by the tweets.

We certainly did not hear about 19 mins of testimony in those tweets.

I saw them on Sixmaps not Google . . . not much detail but a dark grey sedan and a white station wagon or van.

I believe the explanation for the two cars is simple: both cars are owned by the Sharpley family. The grey sedan is the father's, and the white Starwagon (NOT a station wagon, but close to the description given by FM) is Anne-Maree's car. The FM's description even tells of how the white vehicle doesn't slope down at the back but is more abruptly angled. FM's description tells of these cars being seen from around 6:30 in the morning. The testimony of both Sharpleys is that Mr S went to work just after 6:30am, and that his grey sedan was parked (nose pointing up Benaroon Drive). Both he and she say they saw no strange cars there that day, and both drove out looking for possible traffic. It's not clear whether Anne-Maree's car was parked in the driveway or on the roadside, but FM may have been mistaken about their exact positions. The three critical reasons I believe these are the two cars are: 1) They are reasonable matches of the descriptions 2) No one else saw any 'strange' cars 3) The police didn't release the info for a year - suggesting they had initially come to the same conclusion, then re-thought about it when Tony Jones came into the frame. An important fact here is that the 'oddness' that struck the FM about the cars was that they were supposedly parked between two driveways. She took this to mean 'between two properties'. But guess what? The Sharpley house has two distinct driveways - the cars were parked between them.

Do we know if he was asked any questions today, or more to the point did he answer any,was that what was suppressed earlier today?
He seems street smart to me.

I have a feeling it’s to do with the NPO too. There may have been more questions asked than were reported. IMO

Trying to figure out who the witnesses this week might have been and why court was closed.
Could some of them have been the victims of Donohoe?
Did the witnesses want the court closed because they are scared of someone they are giving evidence about?
Did the police want it closed because they dont want next weeks POIs to know what was said and catch them off guard?
This must be heading somewhere.
Surely the darts members would have discussed Williams disappearance when it happened.
We need some brainstorming.

There have been suggestions / speculation that the court was closed as it may have been police officers / detectives on the stand and the closed court due to police operation and information regarding tactical reasoning.

Not confirmed information just other discussions from other sources who also said that likely could be correct as the Police Commissioner made the application.

My guess is as good as anyone's

Agreed. Ever since those two cars were seen on Sixmaps, dated March 2014, it seems pretty certain that those are the two cars. They belong on the street. imo

Troy Brown- I don't recall hearing that name before. Anyone else?

I am wondering if may have been a cell mate of Donahoe?

No speculation here as no idea who he is just wondering if might have been a cell mate.

Those cars in the pic are at the house opposite Ellendale drive, which I believe is 27 and not Sharpleys house at all.

But wouldn’t GJ have ruled them out then if they belong ? If that’s the case it’s been a huge waste of time and directing case in the wrong direction.

My own thought is, and has been for a long time, that the cars have been used to get search warrants for similar vehicles.
Police need reasonable cause to get search warrants.
There are vehicles that have been searched that I don't believe police had any other reasonable cause to search, with regard to William.

Conflicting stories have emerged over a sighting of a driver behaving suspiciously on the morning William Tyrrell disappeared. The inquest was told one local saw a driver struggling to push something down the passenger seat near where the toddler went missing.

Try clicking a different spot so it takes you to this tweet rather than whole 7 feed. A video should come up

Its getting creepier, does he play on his “cognitive disability”
He was fit enough to work in a petrol station , and arrange his prison appeal.
Perhaps all these witnesses are claiming brain damage or a disability.

There was also mention he was bashed in jail wasn't there?

I wonder if this added to his disability?

Caroline Overington on Robert Donohoe, just now in The Australian .....

"He has not previously been named as a person of interest, and no evidence to link him to the crime has been produced."
