I always thought that PS calling was because he had seen something and was not disclosing it.

There was just too little time for him to be on his own and do anything IMO
but there's no alibi to say how long he was on his own, only his own word. The neighbours he said he spoke to don't recall speaking to him,his wife is dead and the first verifiable witness is when Ann Marie Sharpley knocked on his door.

And phone records may have a call to hospital but if from a landline not necessarily from him.

Surely his wife was interviewed at the time though before she passed away? As to what time she left etc. I dont remember seeing anything to state that she was interviewed though

Wasn't it said in one of the podcasts that she didn't give a statement. I'd have to check to be sure

Cant remember Sleep, I did lots searching on PS when he first was mentioned in MSM wasn't much then other than when his wife passed. Don't think I have ever seen to mention that she was interviewed however I cant believe that if she was still alive at the time when the house was initially searched and he was interviewed in the beginning surely she would been asked what time she left etc?. Mind you as we have seen even the FF apparently didnt give a statement or his statement considered the walkthrough at the FG house a week later so who knows.

Interesting. What possible link could he possibly have to this case and that site?
GO also helped with maintenance there'if it's the same person. "Our working group is blessed to have the assistance of some very generous and talented local tradespeople; people like Martin Hocking, Ron Morris and Geoff Owens, who help us stretch the funding considerably," Mr Parish explained."

Especially considering she was said to have left right around the time when W disappeared, which had always been said to have been (even at Tranche#1 of the inquest by FM herself) at 10:25-10:30am, I can't imagine that Mrs. S wasn't interviewed or asked for a statement... she didn't pass away until some 6 months later, so even if LE failed to get her statement right away, surely they would have done so at some point.

Who else might it have been from if his wife had left just after 10:30am and there has been no mention of them living with anyone else, nor having any visitors at the time, not to mention that he was seeming to be coordinating a hospital pickup in relation to his brother being discharged?

(Source: Sixmaps.) That beige area along the north side is what I meant. Is it a patio? I can't see it on Google street view, but perhaps it was added after 2008.

I just re-found this video that I was reminded about. A helicopter filming over Benaroon Drive.
Footage of Savage's house, property, dirt driveway, the track leading off up the hill.

Yes, the patio looks to be on the north side, in the 'L' of the main roof.

the 8 minute phone call was at 959am as Lia Harris tweeted, wife still there then. First short phone call at 902am

When did police do the first interview/statements with ALL neighbours/residents in the street?

Surely well before 6 months after William vanished?

Due to the time that Mrs Savage would have left and I would presume it would be confirmed she was at Bingo at a certain time also, she must have been interviewed, purely not as a suspect but more because she was in the car driving out of Benaroon around the time William disappeared and police surely would have jumped to her in the event that she may have passed or seen any strange cars on her way out or anyone suspicious at the time.

Read the tweets from court, wife was still there. Might be confusing for you time wise when you’re in a different country. <modsnip>IMO

The brother in law GN wonder what time he arrived.

I wonder what time Ronald Chapman saw the car with woman driving and child in Spider-Man suit in back at? It takes 3 minutes driving to get from Benaroon drive to Laurel Street, another 8 to get to Logan’s Crossing and another 8 to get to Herons Creek

I have often wondered if Williams disappearance wasn't something nefarious but rather something unexpected, an accidental incident.
I am not saying I am sold on or implying the savages are now suspect no 1 but.....
it would make a lot of sense if so.

things that stick out to me about their morning.
- he can not recall if she went with him on the walk?....but can recall detailed information including talking to a woman for half hour.
-he remembers hearing children play early on but then didn't hear them yelling out for William.
-he was flapping around because she was running late for bingo.
-she was driving out her driveway exactly in the time frame William disappeared.
-he was all set to go to casino to help his ailing brother.....but suddenly didn't go.

I see the value in his presence at the inquest.

The court heard Mr Newton arrived in Benaroon Drive around 1pm the day William went missing. He tells the court he noticed his brother-in-law Paul standing on the street with a group of locals. @10Daily @10NewsFirst

Mr Newton said when he left Benaroon Drive on the 13th, he did not notice any barriers at the end of the street and could not recall anyone stopping him on the way out. He has now been excused. @10Daily @10NewsFirst
