Strange how his memory can be sharp one minute and not so the next. Funny how it’s always sharp when he can implicate someone else. IMO.

Yes, I am not liking that kind of fluctuation in memory either.

And I can imagine his lawyer preparing him by saying "if you are not comfortable answering a question, just say that you don't remember, as you are legally compelled to answer the question".

Surely his lawyer went over his police statement with him prior to the inquest???

Especially if his lawyer thinks that Savage could be forgetful. Doesn't Savage have a barrister and a solicitor?!
